Qwen is the latest FOSS AI that interests me. I'd like to know who made it. I have limited GPU hardware, and am unlikely to afford better at present prices, and I might be able to run it. That may be necessary to focus on for me to achieve the integration of production across several fields that is a primary focus of my work. Something I find interesting to speculate considering the fragility of the AI circle jerk is that in the event that bubble pops, GPU hardware will plunge to a fraction of it's present cost because it will be a glut on the market. I have long assumed that there is an ongoing attempt to impose certain mores through music, books, tv, and movies. The demonstrable manipulation of genres, like rap, porn, and the execrable Disneyfication of many IP's, made this fairly obvious. We plebs need to be fixated on money instead of wealth, on brigandry instead of cooperation, and sex instead of love and affection, for example. It is our communication between one another that is actually creating our culture, and this is heavily influenced by these media, particularly in folks that don't make intentional efforts to create their own culture. I think a lot of folks I best click with do intend to create culture based on reason and factual information, and that is why we don't just chase paper and bitches, enslaved to the media vile cultists seek to impose on us, like 2 Live Crew when it was suddenly introduced back in the day.

A lot of war is of course propaganda - but what they have lost is the moral war, which was important to win - hard after maintaining and supporting a genocide - so now it's really hard for them to say anything. Yes, 150 children is what I heard - all killed. However, you did see the same thing in Gaza, where they would target schools, hospitals, journalists, so it does not come as a surprise - there is a message in things like that to the people of the region - so I think when you hear a school was hit it's all on purpose. Now, in the 1940s you might have given the benefit of the doubt - but with laser-guided systems, and what we know - I lean in the direction of it being on purpose. I think the fact is - they want to rally Iran support - that's why they killed the leader and created a headless environment - because they want to stay for the long term. They want to stay here because they want to bleed that oil heading for China in the long game. So I think it's either that or it's like a clown world tactic, and it really is that bad. Or of course, they targeted the children, because they wanted to be seen as cruel. But I don't think its a mistake myself. BTW, I think the death toll in US troops is far higher of course with many US bases bombed.

I just wonder what happens when it all crashes. They can't keep the store away for long - open source AI models that function well will sooner or later fall into the hands of the public.
About Qwen - a lot of the heads just resigned recently, like today and yesterday - I am unsure of why - but they all posted on Twitter. I think though - there has been a lot of people resigning. Maybe something new behind the scenes. That is one of the things that is great today is the feeling in open source that everyone is making things and it's falling into the hands of people - and is useful.
