RE: news roundup

Thing about long term food storage, is that if you have some buckets you can fill with dirt, you can plant seed - or potatoes - in them and set them on your roof, balcony, or a sunny window, or even under some cheap LED's, to get a constant supply of fresh veg. That's the best 'storage' mechanism. If you can just get some scraps from a dumpster, rotten potatoes, tomatoes (many tomato varieties will have viable seed even in rotten fruits), carrots, onions, and celery can all actually grow into new plants, so for a lot of things you don't even need seeds. As far as meat is concerned, if you can get a 55 gallon plastic barrel, you can raise catfish, tilapia, or crawdads in the barrel, on table scraps, or bugs you can collect in attics (cellar spiders are great food for aquatic species), your backyard, under rocks, and etc. They LOVE to eat 'ze bugs. Tilapia are vegetarians though, so grass clippings, dried algae, and etc. Baby quail are ~$2.50 each, and they are super cute, make only darling little 'peeps' for noise, and with a bit of metal flashing, hardware cloth, and baling wire you can make an excellent cage for them, although they will forage for most of their food if you can let them forage in the backyard, but that requires netting to keep raptors from eating them. Quail, suprisingly, lay eggs almost as often as chickens. It takes four quail eggs to equal a chicken egg in volume, but they taste better IMHO. Then there's rabbits. No one nor nothing out cutes rabbits - and they don't make ANY noise at all (under most circumstances), so you can easily keep them covertly, in a closet, under the floor in a crawl space, wherever. Because they gnaw you need more of a substantial cage than for quail, but scrap wood is usually easy to find and most people could cobble together a cage suitable for a couple does without trouble. Also, they eat weeds, grass, or scraps of veg. , make superb compost, and breed like .. well, rabbits. It's hard to lose money keeping rabbits. I couldn't even manage it, buying store bought pellets. Every Easter you can make bank selling baby rabbits to pet stores, because they're a traditional Easter gift for children. I was very surprised the rabbits I raised just because, and to eat, actually made me a profit each year if I planned their clutches to be ready to wean at Easter.

Fresh anything is much better than dried anything, IMHO. Canned goods can just be thrown in a box inna closet, but a quail cage inna closet will give you much better nutrition if you ask me. A half dozen quail eggs a day can probably keep you alive indefinitely, and all it will cost you is a comparable volume of spiders, flies, and grasshoppers, along with some random weed seeds, to feed the quail.

Trump is clearly a psychopathic narcissist. No wonder he's named in the (heavily redacted half of the) Epstein files more than God is in the Bible. Maybe we'll get lucky and God will strike him dead during the cease fire and it will hold. Other than his sycophants, like Levin and Fine, no one else has a hate boner for Iran strong enough to actually try to attack it. As we have seen, war with Iran is literally a war to destroy the global economy, and I'm surprised Trump actually tried it.

Thanks!

Edit: I tried to comment on the substack, but it told me only paid subscribers can comment, so I commented here. I think it just logged me out because I passed out and slept in the middle of watching, which also explains the limited nature of my comment, BTW.

That would be the goal, to have a food source that is continuous like that. Its like when I grew up - the place I am at, that is something I need to lean more into - about Trump, a lot of people, ex-Maga are calling him a monster. the curtain has been pulled back, and without the same sycophantic wall of people around him, we are starting to see just what he is. The biggest thing a Narcissist hates, is being made fun of - which is now happening in mass. What a humiliation all the middle east stuff has been for the great orange King. Of course he has not problem lying about - but that lie is not really moving the same way it used to, because everyone's bills are going up -

About Substack, I checked my latest and it does not have any paid on it - all my videos have no paywall everywhere including Pateron and Subscribe star - it might be a bug on substack or like you said you logged out - but you should be able to comment over there no problem at all.

thanks!

"...you should be able to comment over there no problem at all."

I usually can, but I think that after a while it logs you out, and I already had this window open, so just commented here.
