I know it's old news, but from all this something is still valid today and maybe in the future, maybe many of you have seen the 77th Golden Globe Awards Ceremony that took place specifically on January 5th last year. In this event the presenter Ricky Gervais (who for me is a great presenter, actor and humorist but not one of my favorites) as usual in his previous presentations that are usually with an acid and sarcastic humor, touches several "delicate" topics where he talks from the racism that exists in Hollywood to the scandals of pedophilia and sexual abuse by the high sphere of the same and actors.
Maybe everything Ricky Gervais says in the form of "jokes" in each of his Golden Globe presentations is more than mere publicity and no doubt it works for him, but we also have to stop for a moment to think that many of his "jokes" on sensitive issues are completely true; Such is the case of Jeffrey Epstein, Harvey Weinstein, where the former was obviously a multimillionaire for his white slave trade, and mysteriously commits suicide in a maximum security cell, and with great influence with political and financial elites, and the latter accused of sexual abuse using his position as owner of a film production company.
All of the accusations that are talked about here and that the actor Ricky Gervais mocks are proven, when before you could say that they were conspiracy issues now can no longer be called as such since all these are confirmed anywhere you want to look. Now, we know that all of them are actually happening and perhaps more than we know, maybe many of these conspiracy theories are true (which for me, most of them are) and they also want to keep us dumbfounded watching their products, such is the case of Hollywood in order to get rich at our expense and continue doing theirs.
On the other hand, I ask myself, if most of the scandals that are known in Hollywood are already evident to practically everybody, why nobody does anything about it? Simply because those involved are the ones who control most of the traditional media, it is easy for them to silence anyone who protests against them or against their interests, also many of us believe that in some way we are not directly affected by what these people do, so we do not pay the attention it deserves, but well, I am telling you that somehow this affects us all in some way ... or not? ... from my point of view we are collaborators of these people by consuming their products, on the one hand, and on the other hand, by looking away from the acts they commit. Why do many artists of different media die suddenly after raising their voices against these abuses and injustices? Because "they are drug addicts", fame made them "psychotic", he was "drunk" and crashed his car (all this is what they make us believe) but they just don't want their truth to come out or maybe they put a person like Ricky Gervais to tell you the truth as a joke and then they tell you "we had already brought that to light that you didn't want to see it is your problem" or maybe Ricky is waiting for the same fate as the other artists who have rebelled against these people (I hope not).
To culminate and I hope you let me know your point of view, what would happen if the day comes that the whole truth of these scandals is known, My thought is that perhaps many people around the world will be splashed, possibly even who we least imagine, on the other hand I think it will be the beginning of a revolution in entertainment companies, and apparently they have been ahead for a while as we are already seeing with streaming platforms where many actors are already looking at these, and as I always say: do not believe in the first thing we see, question everything they want to show us even if it is the truth, but that the truth we discover it ourselves.
Sé que es noticia vieja, pero de todo esto algo sigue vigente en la actualidad y quizás en el futuro, tal vez muchos de ustedes hayan visto la premiación de 77. ª Ceremonia de los Golden Globe que se realizó específicamente el 5 de enero del año pasado. En este evento el presentador Ricky Gervais (que para mí es un gran presentador, actor y humorista pero no de mis favoritos) como es usual en sus presentaciones anteriores que suelen ser con un humor ácido y sarcástico, toca varios temas “delicados” donde habla desde el racismo que existe en Hollywood hasta los escándalos de pedofilia y abusos sexuales por parte de la alta esfera de la misma y de actores.
Puede que todo lo que dice Ricky Gervais en forma de “chiste” en cada una de sus presentaciones de los Golden Globe sea algo más que mera publicidad y sin duda alguna que le funciona, pero también nos tenemos que detener un momento a pensar que muchos de sus “chistes” de temas delicados son completamente ciertos; tal es el caso de Jeffrey Epstein, Harvey Weinstein, donde el primero obviamente era multimillonario por su trata de blancas, y misteriosamente se suicida en una celda de máxima seguridad, y con grandes influencias con elites políticas y financieras, y el segundo acusado de abuso sexual valiéndose de su posición de dueño de una productora de cine.
Todas de las acusaciones que aquí se hablan y que el actor Ricky Gervais hace mofas están comprobadas, cuando antes se pudiera decir que eran temas de conspiración ahora ya no se pueden llamar como tal ya que todo estos están confirmados en cualquier parte donde quieras buscar. Ahora bien, sabemos que todas en realidad están pasando y quizás más de lo que sepamos, tal vez muchas de esas teorías de conspiraciones sean verdad (que para mí, gran parte lo son) y también nos quieren tener atontados viendo sus productos, tal es el caso de Hollywood para así enriquecerse a costa nuestra y seguir haciendo de las suyas.
Por otro lado yo me pregunto ¿Si gran parte de los escándalos que se conocen en Hollywood ya son evidentes para prácticamente todo el mundo, por qué nadie hace nada al respecto? Simplemente porque como los involucrados son quienes controlan prácticamente gran parte de los medios de comunicación tradicionales se le hace sencillo silenciar a quien proteste en su contra o en contra de sus intereses, también muchos de nosotros al creer que de cierta manera no nos afecta directamente lo que estas personas hacen, no le prestamos la atención que esta amerita, pero bien, sí te digo que de algún modo esto nos afecta a todos de alguna manera… ¿o no?... desde mi punto de vista somos colaboracionistas de estas personas al consumir sus productos, eso por un lado y por el otro lado, al desviar la mirada hacia otra parte ante los actos que comenten. ¿Por qué muchos artistas de diferentes medios mueren de forma repentina luego de alzar la voz contra estos abusos e injusticias? Porque “son drogadictos”, la fama los volvió “psicóticos”, estaba “ebrio” y estrello su auto (todo esto es los que nos hacen creer) pero simplemente no quieren que su verdad salga a la luz o quizás pongan a una persona como Ricky Gervais a decirte la verdad en forma de chiste para que después te digan “nosotros ya habíamos sacado eso a la luz que no lo quisiste ver es tu problema” o también puede que Ricky le espere la misma suerte que los otros artistas que se les ha rebelado a estas personas (espero que no).
Para culminar y espero que me hagan saber su punto de vista, ¿Qué pasaría si llegase el día en que se sepa toda la verdad de estos escándalos?, mi pensar es que quizás muchas personas de todo el mundo se vean salpicadas, posiblemente hasta quien menos imaginemos, por otra parte creo que será el comienzo una revolución en la compañías de entretenimiento, ya por lo visto se adelantaron desde hace un buen rato como ya lo estamos viendo con las plataformas de streaming donde ya muchos actores están mirando a estas, y como siempre digo: no creamos en lo primero que veamos, cuestionemos todo lo que nos quieren mostrar así sea la verdad, pero que la verdad la descubramos nosotros mismos.
