Thanks, I've been wanting to making a post on this topic for some time but always get sidetracked. It easy to forget about those who're incarcerated and many believe that human rights no longer apply to those convicted of a crime. Heck, they aren't even aloud to vote, hhmm, I wonder why?

And is it just a coincidence that the prison population consists of minorities of color? I think not, it's by design and it also supplies dirt cheap labour for corporations to exploit as they have no rights and are thought of as subhuman.

Thanks, this is an important topic... which might become even more important in the near future when more people will be jailed for speaking out against authoritarianism.

You are absolutely right. I saw this horrible footage today from New York, where a man did not wear a face-mask and got beat up by the police; it was a black man of course. Its so depressing to see that most people just do not realize that we are living in a period of proto-fascism, not in America alone.
