They've been lying since the beginning that corona virus couldn't incubate in eggs to make an egg based vaccine. I am positive if someone looked for it, they could find Trump saying that exact thing during one of his covid news conferences. Eggs are the best example of dietary immunomodulatory effects, Ostrich eggs being larger may have a more profound effect when it comes to immunomodulatory effects. The IgY in eggs is compatible with IgG in humans and boost the human immune response. Another reason why they'd want people eating eggs from older hens (as was made a note of in a press conference that older hens were not being culled during this bird flu pandemic despite they lay less eggs), that older hens would be left to produce eggs during the shortage. Older hens though, have less IgY they pass on in their eggs than young hens.
Maybe this Ostrich fight will wake up to the crucial #1 issue why we should never allow them to vaccinate chickens. They simply can't be trusted not to mess and switch up chicken responses to illness like than did with the class switch using the vaccine on humans.
A lot of people can't see through the lies and harms of Trump. This is why during the pandemic he raised the price of a FDA review on vaccines to two billion dollars. He knew he was lying about corona virus not being able to incubate in eggs. He made it unaffordable for any small pharmaceutical company to even attempt to make a egg based vaccine, it would be a useless endeavor, despite some did, I think in India, because they could never afford to pay the FDA review fee. Israel, as a matter of fact, came out with an intranasal egg based spray that could have hit the market as early as Aug of 2020, making/producing a few million to begin with but that few million could have went to nursing homes to help stop the main transmission route of the virus.
So this is not surprising or something new, other than Ostrich eggs may contain more immunomodulatory effects, but the world needs to wake up and stop the process of them vaccinating even one chicken anywhere in the world.
Funny note also, not that you actually read your comments but since someone was trying to get your attention you may notice this, it is completely odd that during January and February of 2025, they saw a 25% rise in bird flu cases. That was huge compared to the overall bird flu range since 2022 of 122 out of 375 million killed in a three year period. Once they got approval for vaccine study, and other monies allocated, it's been crickets on the culling and the prices have come down slightly, but they will never go back to what they were because they simply don't want you to consume eggs as you once did.
