As far as I know, I have also read and from my own experience, there is no such thing as 'education' in cats. If they do something you try to teach them, they do it only with a compromise to themselves. They know very well otherwise what they are doing and what they should do in a given situation. Many times they don't like it, but they probably say to themselves: "Come on, this time I'm going to do this to please my human." But the moment that human isn't looking or isn't there, they immediately do what they want. 😸
