I always have a good supply of sweet potatoes at home. There's no reason not to stock up on sweet potatoes in our kitchen. This nutrient-filled tuber is suitable for main meals that maintain a balance of blood sugar levels.
I am used to replacing rice with sweet potatoes even if it's just for breakfast or dinner.
So this time, I will share with you how my simple breakfast menu.
Boiled Sweet Potatoes
Maybe for those of you who are used to eating tasteful foods, this will be difficult. Maybe, your tongue is not used to it.
Combining Boiled Sweet Potatoes with Stir-fried Side dishes
This is an important trick so that the sweet potatoes are not too bland on the tongue. Try to complete the sweet potatoes with stir-fried side dishes.
This time I combine boiled sweet potatoes with Stir-fried tempeh.
Before transferring the boiled sweet potatoes to a serving plate, I carefully cleaned the rest of the outer skin so as not to waste too much of the sweet potato flesh.
Serving
Cut boiled sweet potatoes into pieces according to your taste. Then serve with Stir-fried tempeh.
You can add green vegetables if you have a supply of green vegetables.
The stir-fried tempeh has a great taste to combine with the boiled sweet potatoes which are a little bland.
You might try this breakfast idea at another time, maybe as a healthy snack for you accompanied by a cup of tea or coffee.
