Have you ever grown edible flowers from green vegetables?
In fact, I wasn't obsessed with growing edible flowers at all. But when the vegetables in my family's garden with mustard greens started to flower, I thought about planting more.
It started with my mother's desire to eat the mustard green flowers, which you usually buy at vegetable market.
When I see my “Caisim” thrive, then I let them grow big and don't harvest them as a whole, we can see here growing flower buds.
Besides being edible, the flowers from this vegetable can later be used as seeds for further plant nurseries.
Indeed, we need a lot of flowers if we want to make them a side dish. If in the garden we still produce a few flowers, we can cook the flowers for omelette mix, potato soup with mushrooms, and many more. Or something else that can be amazing is that we can make a beautiful pudding with this mustard flower filling.
Have you ever eaten flowers from a vegetable plant before? What vegetable flowers are you curious about?
