What is success?
Success is the status of having achieved and accomplished an aim or objective. Being successful means the achievement of desired visions and planned goals.
Success comes in so many ways like growth, good health, overcoming mentally, winning certain battle in your life, getting over bad addiction, and alot more
Now let's come to success in spirituality, I'm a Christian so mine would be in accordance to Christianity.
success in spirituality
I would say success in spirituality is knowing who you are, knowing the truth and also abiding with it. It can also be said that it is to overcome naysayers when it comes to the things of God in your life.
Spiritual success means non-physical/intangible, infinite success such as natural, intangible emotion as joy generated within yourself by continously helping others without seeking any material profits such as money, power, fame, followers, status, high-end luxurious lifestyles from those who you're helping as a result of observing and following ethical necessities and not material desires.
one if the ways to achieve success in spirituality is to be AWAKING SPIRITUALLY.
Spiritual awakening is the clear seeing that there is truly no “you” as a tangible, static entity with any semblance of identity, free will or volition.
You” are the problem!
There is a very mysterious, invisible, metaphorical LIGHT that illuminates all of our perceptions namely seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, feeling and thinking.
We call this LIGHT as CONSCIOUSNESS.
This LIGHT is undeniable and self-luminous, but incomprehensible just like thoughts and memory are.
Everybody has thoughts and memory but then it is impossible for anyone to prove to someone else that they have thoughts and memory.
This leads to the postulate that CONSCIOUSNESS is the subjective aspect of the ONE ENERGETIC ESSENCE or the SOURCE of the cosmos and the cosmos, which is no more than a set of perceptions in this LIGHT of CONSCIOUSNESS, is the objective aspect.This clear SEEING is called as AWAKENING.
After been spiritual awaken then we can see the other which are;
Humility
Integrity
selflessness
discipline
Honesty
loyalty
and so much more
The best thing about spiritual success is that it will always help you to see most human beings just as human beings(not God) who are chasing material success.
...In conclusion
Basically a spiritual success story is that of a person turning away from worldly materialism and instead turning toward God. In other words, those that are renouncing the world’s drama, which is temporal; for something eternal.
