I read Gita everyday. I thought this article should be put in front of you guys.Vedas are the only scripture of Hinduism. The Vedas have four parts Rig, Yaju, Sama and Atharva. The essence of the Vedas is called Vedanta or Upanishads and the essence or essence of the Upanishads is in the Gita. The number of Upanishads is more than 1000, out of which there are 108 main ones.No one has enough time to read Vedas or Upanishads, for them the Gita is the best scripture. Your understanding will change only by understanding the Gita well. You will get information about religion, karma, yoga, creation, war, life, world etc. Right and wrong will be recognized. Then you will have clarity in your mind, not conflict. One who has not read the Gita will always remain in misunderstanding about Hinduism.Shri Krishna-Arjuna Dialogue: The knowledge of Gita was given by Lord Shri Krishna to Arjuna while standing in Kurukshetra. This is known as the Sri Krishna-Arjuna dialogue. Although Gita is a dialogue between Shri Krishna and Arjuna, but it is said that through Lord Shri Krishna, that Kaal-form Supreme God gave the knowledge of Gita to the world.
Just as a man puts on new clothes by giving up the old clothes, similarly the soul renounces the old and useless body and takes on a new physical body.
Everyone is mounted on this chariot of the material body and the intellect is its charioteer. The mind is the bridle and the senses are the horse. In this way, with the association of the mind and the senses, this soul experiences happiness and sorrow.
