DIY: Mini-Garden Day 3 - Sprouts. Sprouts. Sprouts.

in ecoTrain4 years ago (edited)

It is a sort of accomplishment for a gardener like me to see sprouts from seeds I planted. It is very consoling in me to think that in the near future I will be harvesting them.

These are the new leaves of my kamote (sweet potato). Like what I said in my previous blog, these are just left over from what I cooked days back.

These are the garlic. They came from old stock cloves of garlic. My wife noticed that small leaves came out already, so we decided to put inunder the soil near the kamote vines.

These are mustard. Same with pechay, which I also have, they have the same size of seeds and sprouts. You cannot determine which is which until they develop their leaves.

I have also okra (lady finger). Sadly I forgot to take photos. Obviously, seeds and sprouts are bigger that mustard and pechay.

On my next blog you will expect a bigger leaves of them.

Thank you for your time reading my blog.
