The scientists decided long ago to divide the world. They were getting into arguments with the clergy/church, and so, they drew the line.
Physics would deal with physical things, and Metaphysics would deal with all those "spiritual", woo-woo, faith, God (and whether he existed or not) and otherwise, intangible things.
Seems logical, right? Well, if you believe the indoctrination that each kid that attends school gets from the Modern Materialistic Scientists, then of course it makes logical sense.
However, it is not reality. And maybe the scientists would have realized this by now if they discussed openly the findings that experiments shown, instead of burying those findings. And, in burying those findings, every young student is programmed knowingly with false information.
And i haven't even brought up, yet, why the split is absolutely diabolical.
Some of the experiments that show reality isn't real
There are many experiments that show that reality isn't as real as we thought, and that there is something more, much more, out there.
The double slit experiment shows that the universe isn't solid, until someone looks at it. Only then does it become real.
Experiments with atoms show that it is 99% empty space. (actually that space is filled with all kinds of structure that CERN misses, because it is destroyed before they can actually see) The nucleus of an atom is tiny compared to the electron shells. Tinier than the sun compared to the planet's orbits. And further, it has been shown that objects do not really touch eachother. You sit down on a seat, and your bumm and the seat never actually touch.
Heisenberg Uncertainty Principal - You can't know where a particle is, and at the same time where the particle is going. This really messes with Modern Materialistic Physics which believes that it can have perfect knowledge of the universe, and thus plot out the future.
And the entire field of Quantum Mechanics
There are so much evidence that this world is not as solid as it seems, that many people are now believing that we are in a simulation.
Modern Materialistic Science has everything backwards
Science™ believes that we are physical beings, and that the brain is where we think, and that God is a collective hallucination. This is what happens when you separate physics from metaphysics.
Modern Materialistic Science believes that we are physical humans having an metaphysical experience.
Yogis, monks, shaman, those who have had NDE or OBE… all know that we are spiritual beings having a human experience.
Further, their is a gradient, not a separation between physical and spiritual. Scientists have already pushed the edges of spiritual from just belief into physically measurable. Just another experiment ignored.
Spiritual beings having a physical experience
When you put things in the proper order, so much more of our reality makes sense. Things like miracles, deja-vu and even Mandela Effects are all explainable with deeper understanding of how the universe is projected for each of us. (as opposed to the scientific™ that all these things are just us remembering things wrong.)
Speaking on "faulty memory" the reality is that each of us live in separate universes, and we have this really complex interactive structure that allows us to believe there are others, out there, separate from us. So, in reality, what one person sees and remembers is not exactly the same as another person who is supposedly in the same space, witnessing the same things. (think about scientists™ trying to grok this)
Further, the past and future do not really exist. There is only the NOW. The past and the future are constructs that allow us to explain how things are they way they are. They are just stories, convenient stories.
This means that time travel is impossible, but also extremely easy. There is no past you can go to. However, you can shift your NOW to one that is very similar to the past you want to visit. This also means that someone cannot go back in time and kill Hitler's mother. That is part of your story, and no one can take that from you, not without your permission.
Once we start putting thing right side up, it will make our comprehension of our world, and how to work with it much better.
You are a spiritual being having a human experience.
And in the future, science will agree. It is where all the experiment results are pointing to.
Things will make much more sense. Instead of this weird conglomeration of insane systems, like dark matter and dark energy, which only really exist to explain the old system, because science™ cannot admit that it is wrong. Even though their own system, the scientific™ method says that one disproof nullifies a theory.
Physics and metaphysics will be merged back into one continuum.
No longer will the two system be butting heads. No longer will we be at war with our own knowledge.
And there is so much more to discover. Entire worlds, right under our feat. Life forms, that we coexist with, that we don't even acknowledge as living or, sometimes, even as existing. Fun and exciting times are coming to corrected science.
