The book, "The Secret" which discusses something similar to the law of attraction, is really not even half of the story. And, without the full story, it can be very dangerous. Dangerous, like if you believe you can fly, and you jump out of an airplane, and you can't fly.
The Law of Attraction has a lot of moving parts, so, although it is one of the highest laws in this universe, meaning it is absolute, it is hard to fully comprehend. And, with people not fully comprehending it, it is easy to get into bad situations.
So, without imparting a full comprehension of the Law, it can be infuriating at best, and highly destructive…
YOU create your own reality
This is an absolute rule.
However, it is like saying that the character in the video game creates their own reality. YOU, are also the person playing the character. YOU are also the programmer. AND! YOU are also the game console/TV. So, it is very literal that YOU create your own reality.
But, you the character are often unaware of all these other parts of YOU. You only really know about you.
In words we use, YOU includes:
- God
- Higher Self
- Your Over-soul
- Your soul
- Your unconscious
- Your subconscious
- Your ego
- Your ID
- Your past and future lives
YOU has decided to engage in this universe, in this world called Earth. Therefor, YOU have decided to play a game, like chess. The board is decided upon, the rules have been decided upon, the pieces have been decided upon. And these things are usually high above where you can change, or even effect. And, you decided to play this game, and so, really do not want to break out of those rules.
Similarly YOU/you have decided, before birth, on your life path/plan. You have decided the important people you will meet, and their relationship that they will have with you. So, if you try to use the Law of Attraction to effect this plan, you will have a VERY difficult time, and if you are VERY focused on changing it, you can change things that you will wish you never messed with. Because you do not have a full picture of what you had set up.
(However, you have free will, and you can destroy everything that YOU set up before your birth.)
The Law of Mirroring
The Law of Mirroring / The Law of Attraction is all about your vibration, and the universe reflecting that vibration back to you (as a mirror is want to do)
If you use this correctly, you do something, and then see what/how things changed. Then you decide how you liked it. Then you use that to change your vibration.
Vibration, in this sense is… everything in this universe is vibration. All that you see is vibration. The future probability of where an atom will be, is a vibration.
And this vibration attracts more of this (similar) vibrations to you. If you are being a rich person, you are attracting money to you. If you are being a loving person, you are attracting people who want to be loved. If you are a vengeful person, you are attracting people to fight you. If you are thinking everything is hard, you will find that everything is hard.
It is really about the state of your being.
And you can really change your future by changing your state of being.
Helpful tips
The Law of Mirroring is absolute. (the laws above it cannot be changed. Things like "you exist") So, you can use what you are seeing/feeling/sensing as guides in your life.
Your job is to try, then see, the decide if you like it. Repeat.
Your body is part of you, and has a say in what you are attracting. So you can imagine, envision what you want, and it may not be enough. Also pantomime what you are envisioning. Use your muscles, engage your muscles in your imagining.
Get to the bottom of what you really want. Ask why at each step. "I want a GF" Why? "Because i want to feel loved" Why? "Because my mother never really loved me, and i feel i have a hole in my heart" And, so what you really want is the hole to be filled. And a GF might not do that, so be sure to ask for what will. (at least ask for a GF that will love a guy with a hole in his heart)
As you can see, if you do not know all the layers involved in the Law of Attraction, you can really mess things up. Especially upping your frustration when it doesn't seem to be working for you.
So many people new to The Secret say, well i focused and focused and focused and i got nothing, so it doesn't work. And then others, say, "it always works". Which makes it even more frustrating.
And when it gets too frustrating, then people often turn against the Law of Attraction. They become resistant to their own growth. So many times, learning about The Secret just makes people worse off.
It is especially bad for people who have been abused. Because the conclusion of the person is so often "i did things to bring the abuse upon me". Even if they were tiny children when the abuse happened. You really need to understand all the layers before you can work with this. As a small child, you did nothing to deserve to be abused. It is not your fault.
After you heal your inner child, then you can work on understanding why you might have created this life path. (There are not many psychics made without an abusive parent making it essential that they be very sensitive to their environment to avoid their parent's rage.) So, after you are healed from the trauma, and comprehend why these things may have been don to make you who you are today, then you may go to the next step of seeing how YOU chose this path. But do not turn this against yourself, as you deserved that abuse because your higher self chose it.
And this is why, without the full picture, The Secret should have stayed a secret.
