I had been taking my Cinacalcet for my hyperparathyroid for more than two years now and ever since then I am battling about its bad side-effects that I had been complaining for about the same time.
I tried appetite-improving medicines but it just makes me drowsy if not putting a hole in my pockets because they are either not defeating my severe appetiteloss or simply they do not work.
So now I am just forced to eat basically once a day, what I am doing is that I would wait for my body to cry for food before I put food in my mouth because my appetiteloss is so severe that it is just impossible to eat frequently and enjoy my food.
So I was able to eat these foods pictured above and I had thought to take again some vitamin B-complex to see if it would improve my appetite.
I will not take this vitamin in a daily basis because it is just easy to overdose and cause another ailment. Right now I would expect to use the carbohydrates that I ate today very well and burn it. If I would cause its hasty depletion by converting it into energy I might get hungry sooner.
In that way I might get some appetite that I needed although I am just skeptical in what I am about to do but I can't find any better way but to try so that I could at least enjoy the foods that I want and needed.
try eating foods with zinc ?
Whole grains and milk products are good sources of zinc. Many ready-to-eat breakfast cereals are fortified with zinc. Oysters, red meat, and poultry are excellent sources of zinc. Baked beans, chickpeas, and nuts (such as cashews and almonds) also contain zinc
Yes thank you for your suggestion, zinc is an immune system support too.
