No matter how long we go to achieve our goals, if there is no growth and perseverance, success will lose its meaning and significance in our lives. It is not about seeing the mistakes or failures to reach the goal, but the knowledge and experience that we learn from our mistakes to make them an opportunity for growth and victories in our lives.
It is not about lamenting or voicing complaints when something goes wrong, it is only about persevering in the midst of adversity until it becomes situations of victories for our lives.
The goal is before us, it is up to each one to strive and persevere until they obtain their award.
When Joseph, the son of Jacob, dreamed that he would become a man of authority and with the leadership of a governor, obstacles were presented to him one by one. The family was an obstacle, however, as José grew in his efforts to achieve his dream, he acquired maturity, which helped him to be a dream strategist to overcome difficulties.
In prison his ability to reveal dreams led him to reach the rung of the highest success, when the Pharaoh's cupbearer stated that he knew a young man who could reveal a dream that Pharaoh had had. The maturity and personal development that Joseph had acquired led him to accept the challenge of revealing his dream to Pharaoh.
The obstacles were many, but Joseph's perseverance prevailed and he achieved success as his dream revealed that he would be the ruler of Egypt and a man of authority over many peoples in times of famine.
Success makes sense in our lives when we persevere and leave no room for obstacles to back down.
Become mature and knowledgeable as you successfully persevere toward your goal.
The matter seemed good to Pharaoh and his servants, and Pharaoh said to his servants: - Will we find another man like this, in whom is the spirit of God? And Pharaoh said to Joseph: "After God has made all this known to you, there is no one who understands or is wise like you." You will be over my house and by your word all my people will be governed; only on the throne will I be greater than you. Pharaoh said to Joseph, "I have set you over all the land of Egypt. Then Pharaoh removed the ring from his hand and put it on Joseph's hand; He made him wear clothes of fine linen and put a gold necklace around his neck. He got him into his second car, and they were shouting in front of him: "Bend your knee!" So Joseph remained over all the land of Egypt. Pharaoh said to Joseph, "I am Pharaoh; But without you no one will lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt. Pharaoh named Joseph Zafnat-panea, and gave him Asenath, daughter of Potiphera, priest of On to wife. Thus was Joseph in charge of all the land of Egypt. (Genesis 41: 37-45)
