Great to hear that you celebrate midsummer there too, for some reason here in Sweden they have moved the midsummer celebrations to always be on a Friday and not necessarily on the day of the summer solstice, which I think is a bit sad, but here most people go to the countryside to celebrate midsummer, and there is many traditions around it, it's also the second largest celebration after Christmas here, and wholly non-commercial.

Sometimes they make the celebrating fires on the nearest weekend of this day, at least this was how they did when I lived in Bavaria for some years. Here in Graz, my hometown it sadly is not celebrated so much, since most of the fires have been forbidden.
