Yes I have witnessed numerous miracles both directly and indirectly and is part of my daily life. Miracle to me is actually experiencing God's infinite love and compassion on a daily basis and it's what I witness and experience everyday. Have you thought about the miracle of sleeping and waking up. The other day my wife slept before me and I observed how she was sleeping and I realized that we're all dead people who God shows mercy everyday. We're always helpless when we're a sleep and anything can happen to us at that moment. My entry for this week's contest is about significant miracle experienced by my family some years back and it's worth sharing to this household of faith. I'll want to use this medium to appreciate the Admin in person of @ecotrain for the good works you've been doing in this community week in weekout, God whom you're glorifying will bless you. The most striking miracle that I've witnessed happened to my family two years ago. We've been having serious armed robbery attacks in our area in Port Harcourt City, Nigeria and this time they came into our Estate and starting breaking into our neighbors houses. Any flat they broke into the armed robbers took money and other valuables from them and the most disastrous thing that happened was that they raped the young ladies alongside the robbery attack. The robbery attack started by 1am and lasted for 3 and half hours. Our neighbors started calling the Police but there was no response (this is actually the attitude of the Nigerian Police who are meant to secure lives and properties but the bible says that except the Lord watches a City the watchmen watches invain). We realized that they were robbing from flat to flat and immediately we noticed that it was armed robbers that were operating in our neighborhood, we began to call on God for our security. We prayed quietly in unity as a family and agreed that our house will not be robbed. Our flat was the 3rd flat out of 8 flats in the wing of our estate. Why this is a miracle was that the robbers started from flat 1 and entered flat 2 and when it came to our flat being flat 3 the robbers entered into confusion and started fighting themselves and during the process of fighting they skipped our flat and went to the next flat and robbed the entire estate without coming close to our flat. Once it was day break everyone came out and shared their experience and everybody in the estate was surprised how they skipped our flat. This made me remember the hymn that's titled - "it pays to serve Jesus".
I conclude by saying that our daily life is an exhibition of the miracles of God and we need to recognize that its the handwork of God and not by our strength. For instance, our ability to sleep and wake up is not just a routine event that must happen, remember that done slept and couldn't wake up. All that we have is as a result of God's grace and not by our works.
