Hello ecotrainers... Am happy to be back in your faces. Am here to answers the question for this week. It has really been awesome discussing spiritual stuffs all these while. So this week's topic state if Spirituallity and technology can coexist.
In my opinion,since everyone is entitled to his or her opinion,I would say yes. They are two different world whose existence is not threatened by each other. I feel it all boils down on the an individual who want to explore both world.
Spirituality like I defined in one of my previous post is every activity of man that aims to bring man closer to God and make him more conversant with God his maker.
Technology on the other hand is an innovation created by man. I would also like to mention that the source of the inspirations that brought about these technology are divine making it have a hand of divinity in the conceiving and buildup process.
Like I said earlier on, they can coexist,I don't see any affecting the other in anyway. Infact I think one helps to project and give voice to the other. I explained and said man every activity to get closer to God and to do His biddings can be referred to as Spirituallity,this definition can be a fraction of what the term means but since I want to use it to establish a point,I will just go ahead with it with my explanation below
Technology can help me get in touch with a preacher who is far away and get to hear from Him what God is saying through him as a man of God. Technology can give me access to the internet to read up contents that can bless my soul and spirit. Technology can help me connect with other believers that are very far away in remote places
The long and short of this is that technology has been for a very long time it has only been evolving over time and that is one of the good feature of technology,the fact that it is evolving rapidly and becoming sophisticated doesn't mean it will take the place of Spirituallity,that will be something I wouldn't agree to as it depends largely on different individual. They both play different roles in our lives .Technology cannot give to me what Spirituallity will give to me. So I like to put each where they belong to and also see how both can be helpful and complementary and of course u priotise Spirituallity over technology
