Greetings to the entire Hive community, especially to the @ecoTrain team. As usual the question of the week gives us an excellent opportunity to express our ideas. In our western culture success is almost always measured by the amount of material things you accumulate or have, whether it is a product of study, entrepreneurship or any other activity. The question of the week goes beyond this materialistic approach, what do we mean by success from a spiritual perspective? I think that the answer to this question should make us reflect on our priorities, at least for me, who is close to 60 years old.
We live in a consumerist world, in a frantic race to get money to buy things some necessary and others not, this product of advertising bombardment and stereotypes of modern society. Working hard, striving and struggling to show yourself to others as a person of achievement, who achieves his goals, regardless of the field that is, will indicate that you are a successful person, but it is not uncommon to see that such people are not happy, live stressed and some even end up committing suicide. I do not intend to demonize personal success, nor the comfort provided by material resources, recognition and prestige generated by success, it would be dishonest of me not to recognize the admiration generated by successful people, in fact when I write this post and try to do my best, I aspire to some financial reward, a small success, which to a lesser or greater extent allows me to acquire things, I am part of this consumerist world. But I think that balance is important, because if someone is unhappy and does not have a good life even if he is apparently successful according to the established stereotypes, then I think something is not right and I attach great importance to the question: What do we mean by success from a spiritual perspective?

such a beautiful post, thank you for this gem! blessings <3
Thank you
