If it's low tide most think that the sea is just getting lower. However, in our place when it's low tide it gets really dry. Like you can't believe how to be able to walk through this part here when not long ago it's hard to walk on but instead to swim on. It can be possible in our place because when it's low tide, the sea gets really dry that even the live rocks under are visible above.
This always happens during the month of December. This is where the sea gets really dry for approximately 300m to 500m from the shoreline. You can't believe it but this is actually happening in our place. You can even fish in the deep part of the sea by just walking ahead. But this does not just make the sea in our place interesting, it's what you can see during this dry season.
Hello there, we don't have a beautiful day but seeing the people roaming around the sea because of the low tide makes the day beautiful. Before I forget this will be a #sublimesunday post by @coff33a and #beautifulsunday by @ace108. I want to show you that might be interesting for you to see what's beneath under the sea long ago but now what's above the sea. For those who haven't experienced the dry season, perhaps it might interest you.
Let me show you first this creature we always see in the sea and we call it a star. Don't worry if I will only show you a few photos since there will be a video later. I will show you that there are different types of stars. You can see a star even if it's not just dry although it's hard for them to find when it's high tide.
This one is a type of seashells, it's hard to find I must say. Though this shell is very delicious, especially when you mix it with coconut milk. You can often see this shell in the seaweed with the color green. They're like living in the sand but not in the stone. I didn't know why it was here when I saw it, well they can walk after all and that's why.
If you watch the video you can see a lot of interesting creatures that can be found in the sea. Also, you will understand how the dry season is beneficial to the locals here. It offers food and many more just by searching. And also, I included the types of sea urchins and how they can be eaten.
This one is a "lokot" (Bisayan word), it's a waste of a creature named "donsol", too bad I can't show you one. They can always be found attached in the seaweed, that yellow type seaweed. They're delicious when you place them with vinegar. Well, it depends on how people are used to it.
Anyway, I will not say any longer because you can hear much from my video. Also, if you give time to watch the video you can learn many things from it.
Thank you for reading and watching.
