Limiting the number of children in each family is one of the best solution but It should apply on all the people's Irrespective of what caste or religion they belongs to..Because it has been seen in many places in our India that Hindu families are giving birth to a limited number of children.But in the case of some Muslim families, it is not seen that ,they do more than one marriage now and give birth to more children.If this method continues, then somewhere in the future, we will have to pay the brunt of this thing..... @sanjeevm

True, the law should be same for everyone across any religion. Population is a problem for the entire country, not any particular religion.
