Q. "If you could ask God ONE question and God would give you an immediate answer what would the question be and what answer would you want to hear?"
I thought long and hard about this because I have a lot of questions in my head. There are some I haven't gotten answers to but there are some I've gotten answers to. Let me just pull one out of the hatchet for this amazing challenge for the week...
Olawalium: "Why did you have to take dad when you did, especially when you knew I wasn't ready and I was still finding my feet?"
God: How did you know you weren't ready? I made you or you made me?
Olawalium: Of course, you made me. I didn't feel ready and it was unprepared for.
God: You don't prepare for war in a time for war...you prepare for war during the time of peace. My strength is made perfect in your weakness and before I formed you, I know you. I know you are ready and that's why I called him home. His job was done. He was a custodian, I own you, not him. What do you do when your nanny has done her job for the day? You take over and ask them to go home, isn't it? He was sent home because his job was done.
I know you think you weren't ready but see how you turned out? Have I not been taking care of you? You don't have to understand my ways before you believe them because I make all things new. My ways are not your ways and I can't be limited by human thoughts. Just as heaven is higher than the earth, it's hard for a human like you to fully understand what I am doing.
I am taking you through a process. I am the one who knows the way. The way I wanted to take you through then, I don't have your earthly father in that picture then. I am the one who wants to guide you with my marvellous hands. I don't need anyone's help to do that because I am God.
You weren't as close to me then as you are now. You always run to him anytime you needed anything and I felt relegated. I am a jealous God, read my Word, I said it in the Bible. I don't want to share my glory with anyone. Whatever he did for you, I made him do those things by equipping him to do them. You lacked a depth of focus then, you had misplaced priorities then and you didn't know me as deeply as you do now. If he was still in your life, you won't learn to stand on your own and do things by relying on my help.
I had to take him away to help you stand and see how you turned out. You are not there yet but you are not where you used to be. Trust my process and you will turn out more than okay. I did all that to get your attention because you mean a lot to me. I have deposited so much in you that you didn't realize back then. I had to let him go so you can focus on me. I got your attention and that's what I wanted.
His work was done and you are back to your rightful owner. You bear my mark and if I have to tear down the mountain just to get your attention and have you back at my corner, I would gladly do so. That is how important you are to me and I don't want any man to get in the way of that.
Olawalium: tearfully I am sorry and I believe in you. I trust your ways and I got my answer. Nothing and no one would ever come in between again. I love you, Father.

This is amazing, like, I really enjoyed the dialogue. This part got me
God doesn´t need anyone to do what He wants to do even our earthly parents. No one can stop Him when He is ready and see how He turned everything to favor you today, even though it was a sad moment losing Dad. God really needed your attention, that was why He took the step by taking him away. It is true that God has reasons for everything and we might think our ways are better, but His is far better and greater than ours. This is beautiful. Thank you for posting in the community.
Thank you so much for this. Really appreciate it. Indeed, God doesn't need our help to do what He can do. He understands everything and we are going through a process. I might have asked Him why He allowed dad to miss so many important parts of my life and He would have answered me the same way, "But I didn't miss it. I made them happen." He is the only One that matters.
I can understand your curiosity and questions since your father was involved but as we have to answer all the questions ourselves and we're our own book keepers so I have no doubt you knew what to expect from Him! Cheers
