Planted Avocado and Guyabano seedlings and harvesting coconuts on a scorching summer day

When you're surrounded by a world of constant lies, manipulation, and deceit, that dark energy is bound to seep into you eventually.Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman

Planting trees maybe frowned upon my the media right now, they say it cannot solve climate change. Maybe because they are fighting an non-existent enemy?

Back in the good old days, we were told to grow trees, so we can harvest fruits someday—or even cut one for lumber. Quite honestly, reforestation had been a buzzword in our region even before it was a trend. Mainly because illegal logging was rampant back then and non-government organizations are fighting to prevent the further decrease of forested area and the the ill-effects of deforestation to the environment and the biodiversity.

Books portrayed slash-and-burn or the "kaingin" system as illegal, well it depends. If its the locals, it is against the law, but if its the wealthy investors, it is a good business proposition.

Historically, our island was a jungle, until people cmae here and deforested a portion of the plains for use as residential and agricultural area. It might be a form of hypocrisy if we point to the ozone layer and not move out from our properties and give up our belongings to allow the Earth to naturally recover in less than a decade—I mean how about we just all leave the planet Earth?

It is irritating for people to regurgitate the propaganda of climate change and blame the common people for it. If you can't give up fossil fuel emmissions, plastics, vaccines, and the likes, then just stop fighting against climate change because they are celebrating to fall on their trap.

They want everyone to fall into confusion, by putting blame into humanity instead of those who are milking both the Universe's resources and the foolish majority.

LOL! They are even tree planting with non-native plants and in a monocolture system, just to look trendy and green.

Yeah, they are stitching the wrong fabrics together.

It won't matter anyway.

We will all die and leave our fossil fuel byproducts in dumps sites, vacant lots, and in bodies of water. Blame the consumers, or better blame the millenials, lol!

Just a piece if a life advice, just enjoy life and don't care.

If they can't close down the fossil fuel industry, then we are not obliged to do something. We can't even give up the comfort of the modern life can give, so let's just stop the hipocrisy.

Use that plastic cup, sip from a plastic straw, and throw away that single-use plastic, it be more shameful if you'll dress down with banana leaves and live like a cave man just to prevent the world from heating one more degree.

Rising sea-levels?

Build an ark.

Anyway, we are just all nothing compared to those controlling the world. They make the rules, we just need to shut up and comply. If they say there's climate change, pandemic, etc., we all must come into blind agreement and believe.

BUT, if you're fed up, you can go to the countryside and build a sustainable community. Plant more trees and start a food forest—not to change the world's average temperature, but to care less and actually enjoy a slower life.

The world is naturally changing, humans survived the African jungles turning into a desert, but we are not entitled to always have the Universe in favor for humanity. If another life form will supersede us, then it is the way.

So remember, if you are not part of the board of directors in the world's biggest oil, gas, mining, or whatever manipulative companies, it is never your fault to have the Pacific garbage patch in your lifetime or in our descendants' future.

So, live your life the way you want, preferrable grow even just one tree before you leave the Earth. Throw seeds in vacant lots or if you're filthy rich, buy land and reforest it. Maybe you're grandkids will enjoy the cool shade and wind break after the man-made weather become more "natural" in the future.

Maybe that's one big reason they want us to eat bugs or fake meat because they ran out of ideas to borne fear out of humanity. That's a big NO from me. I'll just stick to our ancestral and local diet even if they'll eventually force everyone to out bugs in the food pyramid.

That's it, I planted an avocado and a guyabano seedling at the farm. It's not gonna save the world, but it might save us from the skyrocketing prices.
