This reminds me of how the government is lying about the existence of aliens in order to "prevent panic". I don't think it's right because that's not the only thing they're lying to us about. Like they say, one lie leads to another and another and so on.

Yeah, technology like an antimatter interstellar engine. Those are crimes against humanity.
