While it is true that the universe and life are wonderful and amazing, trying to understand it is complex, even more so when God and his role in the world is part of the arguments of this reflection, in order to answer the question "If there is a God, why is there so much suffering in the world?
For this reason, I begin by stressing that God, in any religious expression or spiritual relationship or belief, is omnipresent, just, omnipotent and merciful, guiding, comforting and protecting humanity.
Based on this philosophical conception of God, we trust in his mercy and ability to understand and solve the world's serious problems and guide us to better ourselves as individuals and as a population.
In this sense, there are infinite possibilities of answers and questions that arise in relation to God and his work in a world that is dissimilar, contrasting and compelled by the suffering, imbalances and asymmetries that coexist in everyday life.
What are the most frequent causes of suffering in the world, and why do they occur, become more severe and even recurrent?
Unfortunately, they are caused by the human species: wars, conflict and exile zones, socio-economic inequalities and asymmetries, hunger and poverty, unsustainability of commercial and productive activities, access to water, loss of biodiversity, global warming, desertification, political corruption, child prostitution, human and organ trafficking, among others.
Millions of people in the world suffer in one way or another from these causes, directly and indirectly, their actual and potential consequences have been studied, denounced, their impact recognised, and yet we continue on the path of destruction and damage to society and humanity.
Self-centredness, lust for power, underestimation of consequences and short-termism may be some of the roots of these causes of suffering in the world.
The indivisibility of the world and ourselves is important, to see ourselves as part of the world, not to isolate ourselves from our surroundings in order to understand and participate in the activities necessary to diminish suffering and achieve integral wellbeing. It is the responsibility of each and every one of us!
In my village there is a popular saying that goes: "To God praying and with the hammer giving", and it expresses the union of faith in God and the action or work of man to achieve his objectives, both of which are necessary.
While it is true that life is a cocktail of many flavours, one more pleasant or enjoyable, the contrast of all teaches us to recognise it, differentiate it, learn from them and be empathetic and in solidarity with those who are in less favourable conditions or suffering, to offer hope to enjoy other shades of life and well-being.
Things happen for a reason, often we do not know what they are, some cause suffering to people and living beings (animals and plants) massively worldwide, and we do not find an explanation, and questions arise based on the non-acceptance of what is happening, something very humanly understandable, to look for those responsible.
And this is where spirituality arises through acceptance and humility, which does not mean that we are indifferent to what is happening, on the contrary, it is recognised and understood as part of the processes of life and the necessary teachings for transformation.
We are in the process of positive changes for a better world, let us learn to make better people, better citizens, fostering peace, prosperity and sustainable development.
We can do it with everyone's commitment and God's blessing!

PREGUNTA DE LA SEMANA 9.2 - "Si hay un Dios, ¿por qué hay tanto sufrimiento en el mundo?".
Hola comunidad de Ecotrain y Hive:
Si bien es cierto que el universo y la vida son maravillosos y sorprendentes tratar de comprenderlo es complejo, más aun cuando Dios y su rol en el mundo es parte de los argumentos de esta la reflexión, para dar respuesta a la pregunta "Si hay un Dios, ¿por qué hay tanto sufrimiento en el mundo?".
Por este motivo, inicio destacando que Dios, en cualquier expresión religiosa o relación espiritual o de creencia, es omnipresente, justo, omnipotente y misericordioso, que guía, consuela y protege a la humanidad.
Partiendo de esta concepcion filosófica de Dios, confiamos en su misericordia y capacidad para comprender y resolver los graves problemas del mundo y guiarnos para mejorar comos individuos y como población.
En este sentido, hay infinitas posibilidades de respuestas y preguntas que surgen con relación a Dios y su labor en un mundo disímil, contrastante y compulso por el sufrimiento, desequilibrios y asimetrías que coexisten en la cotidianidad.
¿Cuáles son las causas más frecuentes del sufrimiento en el mundo?,¿Por qué ocurren, se agudizan e incluso son recurrentes?
Lamentablemente son originados por la especie humana: guerras, zonas de conflicto y exilio, desigualdades y asimetrias socioeconómica, hambre y pobreza, insostenibilidad de las actividades comerciales y productivas, acceso al agua, pérdida de biodiversidad, calentamiento global, desertificación, corrupción política, protitución infantil, tráfico humano y de órganos, entre otros.
Son millones de personas afectadas que sufren en el mundo de una manera o de otra por estas causas, de manera directa e indirecta sus consecuencias actuales y potenciales, han sido estudiadas, denunciadas, se reconoce su impacto y sin embargo seguimos en el camino de destrucción y daño a la sociedad y la humanidad.
El egocentrismo, ansias de poder, subestimación de las consecuencias y cortoplacismo pueden ser algunas de las raíces de estas causas de sufrimiento en el mundo.
La indivisibilidad del mundo y nosotros es importante, vernos como parte del mundo, no aislarnos de entorno para comprender y participar en las actividades necesarias para disminuir el sufrimiento y lograr el bienestar integral. Es responsabilidad de todos y cada uno de nosotros!.
En mi pueblo hay un refrán popular que dice: “A Dios rogando y con el mazo dando”, y expresa la unión de la fe en Dios y la acción o trabajo del hombre para lograr sus objetivos, ambas son necesarias.
Si bien es cierto que la vida que la vida es un coctel de muchos sabores, uno más agradables o placenteros, el contraste de todos nos enseña a reconocerlo, diferenciarlo, aprender de ellos y ser empáticos y solidarios con quienes se encuentran en condiciones menos favorables o de sufrimiento, para ofrecer esperanza de disfrutar otros matices de la vida y el bienestar.
Las cosas pasan por alguna razón, muchas veces no sabemos cuáles son, algunas causan sufrimiento a las personas y seres vivos (animales y plantas) masivamente a nivel mundial, y no le encontramos explicación, y surgen preguntas basadas en la no aceptación de lo que está sucediendo, algo muy humanamente comprensible, buscar responsables.
Y es ahí donde surge la espiritualidad a través de la aceptación y humildad, lo que no significa que seamos indiferentes a lo que sucede, por el contrario se reconoce y comprende como parte de los procesos de la vida y las enseñanzas necesarias para la transformación.
Estamos en proceso de cambios positivos por un mundo mejor, aprendamos hacer mejores personas, mejores ciudadanos, propiciando la paz, prosperidad y el desarrollo sustentable
