"What do we fear, why do we fear?"

Fear is that feeling of insecurity, which does not allow us to move forward to achieve our goals, otherwise we could say that fear is the opposite of courage, it takes over our lives preventing us from moving forward, thinking clearly and even being objective in our decision-making..

Fear, from my point of view, is a human quality because it is a coercion that prevents us from achieving countless goals, but at the same time pushes us to go beyond our own aspirations, and it is precisely in those desperate moments that we make life-changing decisions.

Sometimes we can say that there are fears that are caused by our closest as members of our family, many anecdotes lead me to parents who intimidate their young children with fanciful stories to control them, and that is precisely where the lack of authority is evident, but in the long term these fears grow into weaknesses.

In the same way, fears arise in more open areas such as educational centers where our greatest fears and insecurities grow, bullying is one of the main engines to create fear, it affects the weakest and most insecure and produces so much damage in people's lives that it can leave sequels that are almost impossible to erase.

There are other causes of fear that generate great pressure on us, society is one of them because in a cruel way it judges without having morals, we are simply used to see the mistakes in the tears of others but we do not stand in front of the mirror so we can see that everything is because we want to judge for what sometimes even we ourselves are not able to achieve..

The media, with its great communicative voice, has become another direct transmitter of our fears, since it is no secret to anyone that there are many events that occur day after day worldwide, the different catastrophes and diseases that hit society in general, undoubtedly the pandemic was and is a reason that has caused great fear in the world, Hurricane Ida, which hit the United States, and has been considered the most extreme weather event and has had the greatest economic impact in 2021, or the winter storm that hit the state of Texas, the cold wave in France and the brutal economic crisis that Venezuela is going through, all of which have caused great fear in the world.

All these events seem to be scenes from a horror movie, in previous years many had to set alarms to wake up and carry out their activities, nowadays there are so many worries that many do not sleep thinking about what awaits us tomorrow..

Undoubtedly we are much more afraid than our ancestors say they were, without taking into account that our technological advances are evidently greater, but it seems that the more we advance the more we fear, why is this? Who are we afraid of?

To conclude I feel that our fears grow because we have this feeling of anxiety and distrust that we have undoubtedly created ourselves, this means that we are afraid of ourselves and what we are capable of doing.

As man advances, he leaves the corpse of many of us, being the cause of water pollution, insecurity, food shortages, forest fires and the extinction of many animals are a short list of all that we are causing and that we do not give more importance..

So who do we fear, man and the consequences of his actions because in many occasions we go through life seeing only our needs without taking into account that we climb the tower on the shoulders of someone we trample leaving them behind..
