RE: EcoTrain QOTW: What's the One Thing You KNOW Would Transform Your Life? - and what's really stopping you?

This terror can act like an anchor of sorts in our adult years that prevents us from realizing who we are outside of our "upbringing bubble". Imagine living your whole life for someone else but trying to fool yourself that you're living for yourself, it quite never works from an inner standpoint, something is missing, like a key puzzle of realization. On the outside, we sometimes blame it on the universe working against us when everything doesn't seem to work out our perceived way of doing it.

Sort:

If you couldn't trust your parents, how are you supposed to trust the universe? So, of course you would easily blame the universe.

I am unsure we can get outside of our upbringing bubble. If we had good, encouraging parents, that kept pushing us to be our own person, then maybe.

Else, you are trapped forever in the upbringing bubble. Your parents are in your brain, commenting on everything you do, still. Until you clean all that up, it is still there.

Right! I think having the guidance on learning to be our own person at a young age is crucial for navigating life better when we eventually become adults.

Otherwise, we just become the same child inside while our body keeps getting older :D
