A few short-term yet beneficial strategies to treat Stress!

Stress is unavailable. And I guess everyone has their own way to deal with it. But sometimes you will find it difficult to apply your most proven way regardless of time and place. Because what may work on your home may not work in your office.

So let's see how some short term strategies can help us! I'm using the term 'short-term' not because the effect will be short term but these can be done in a shorter period of time, take very little practice and you can do it even while traveling.

  • Focus shifting. When you feel too stressed, don't try to jump in to find out what's going wrong. Rather focus on something which will et you feel better, some imaginary vision, recall some good memory from the past. Just shift your focus for a few minutes and deal with the stress after that.

  • Breathing. It's really helpful to relax our body and mind. Take a deep breath, do some in and out breathing practice, and relax your brain muscle.

  • Meditation. No, it will not take much to do it anywhere. Just make your body and mind calm, breath, close your eyes, focus, and let it be. Only a five-minute mediation in between your busy day can make you feel better.

  • Be with nature. Nature has a great healing and relaxation power. Take a break from your day and go for a short walk if possible.

Alone with all these simple tips, prioritize your mental health. Always remember to relax your brain every now and then. Don't think about the causes of stress all the time. Your brain may continuously push your to find solutions. But take a little break. Practicing this can really bring peace of mind and thus help reduce stress in our life.
