Technology na one of the biggest thing we dey enjoy today. If we look back small, we go see how life used to hard before technology enter strong. For example, many years ago, if person wan browse internet, na cyber café you must go. You go pay 30 minutes or one hour before you fit even login to Facebook or Yahoo. But now, with just small smart phone, we dey carry whole world inside our pocket.

I remember one funny story back in secondary school. I wanted to do assignment, but I no get internet at home. I waka go café, buy 30 minutes card. Before the computer even open fully, 10 minutes don already go. I manage search small thing and print it. Compare that time with now if my younger brother wan do assignment, he just pick phone, type question on Google, answer don come out sharp sharp. That is how technology don change life.

Even photo own no remain the same. Before, you must look for photographer with big camera, sometimes wait one week before picture go come out. But now, smart phone with good pixel fit snap you sharp, and you even edit the photo yourself before posting online. Technology don make things fast, easy, and cheap.

Another big change na music and video. Back then, to get new music, you must buy CD or go to café again to download one by one. Sometimes virus go even follow the file. But now, with apps and YouTube, you fit download or stream unlimited music free. Entertainment don turn another level because of technology.

Even in work and business, technology dey save lives. Farmers dey use new machines, market women dey use WhatsApp to call customers, even student dey learn online without teacher standing in front of them. This show say technology no be only for rich people, everybody dey benefit in one way or another.

For me, technology means opportunity. It make world smaller, connect people far and near, and open ways to grow. Yes, sometimes it bring distraction, but if you use am well, it go make life sweet and better.

At the end, the importance of technology no be something we fit finish for one day. It touch every area of life. And me, I just dey grateful say I dey alive to see this kind of change.
