This is an update on the progress of work to assist people in need, as part of an initiative of active users within Hive and associated with the Thealliance community.
We will continue to use the donation system to create a fund that will allow us to accomplish very specific and timely tasks.
The first task scheduled is the purchase of food for ten (10) Venezuelan families. The amount needed is approximately 200 HBD. This task implies the inclusion in Hive of new users, business owners, who are willing to accept HBD as payment currency.
Some users have offered to publish content, assigning the @assistence account as the beneficiary of part of the proceeds. This is a great way to build the necessary fund to achieve the proposed goal.
A friend needs urgent help
Recently, our Hive witness friend @enginewitty suffered a calamity when he lost his home in a fire. The material and emotional losses are enormous.
An account was created to receive help, this is @ewfund and we want to participate in the relief efforts.
We will be sending some HBD to that account, plus you can do the same if you want to help. On the other hand, if you would like to contribute to the @assistence project for the food shopping task that is scheduled, you can come to the Thealliance discord and let us know. For now, overall efforts will be focused on helping @enginewitty recover some of what was lost.
