I don't sleep on rocks. I don't sleep on electricity either. I sleep on clouds and marshmallows. Ass and titties. Yup, I'm here and so is @snook, who got this fun thing for us. Check out her post if you like, and get your hahas while you're there.
Pretty, right? You may even notice some rocks.
And electricity.
But, no clouds or pillows of any kind.
You can camp in here though, this is Cumberland Caverns and has always been a favorite spot of mine to visit during the hot summer.
It stays 50 degrees in most parts of the cave due to the density of the sandstone insulating the walls and ceilings and proximity to fresh water springs and underground reservoirs.
There is even that gorgeous little waterfall you see in the peanut butter there, that is highlighted because of, what's that thing again? Oh ya, electricity.
Could you imagine exploring a cave system with no light to guide you or show you where you had been?
Sounds like a nightmare or impossible task.
The mouse that doesn't get the cheese because there is no actual way out of the maze.

Stalactites, stalagmites and a princess too! We had fun, and got a good workout in the process. If memory serves, in total, there is over 30 miles of mapped caves in this system. Prods the curiosity to wonder what isn't on the map. Whatever tickles your explorer's bone, just REMEMBER TO BE YOU! I always am, because electricity is better than rocks.

Ruby Falls or the Raccoon one? Ruby is gorgeous! Think there a couple more down there too like a bat cave or something. !PIMP

You been? Ruby Falls has to be in the top ten greatest places to visit in Tennessee man.
We drove by, but we didn't want to pay the money to see it. We were more interested in Lookout Mountain, but by the time we got up there the fog and clouds were so thick you couldn't see anything. We ended up just going to the aquarium having lunch and then driving back to Nashville.
Aww, it's a great view when there is no fog, maybe if there's a next time, you let me know and I'll pay for all of us to go in! The little ones haven't been there yet 😁

Awesome! I love caves, they are perfect in summer to cool down. That one is really cool with little waterfalls, but I would hate to explore without electricity. Imagine have to carry a torch as your light source, it would get smoky really quickly!
There's a spot further in, where people 'wrote' their names on the ceiling with char and smoke from torches. Next time I go, I'll have to get a shot. Some are from the 1800s!
