Yes, we have initiated another hardfork! There were a few minor discrepancies with HF26. The primary one being the scheduling of witnesses. What does that mean?
The witness schedule is a 'provably fair' way to ensure that everyone running a witness, gets a turn to write a block on Hive. The schedule adheres to the witness rankings and allows for even the lowest ranked of witnesses, to produce a block and help secure our chain.
During hardfork 26, somewhere along the line, this schedule got muffed up and the order was all wonky. Witnesses went days without hitting a block that normally would have in hours.
I was one of those. I even had a few days where the schedule got stuck and I felt like I was up there in the top 20 for a minute.
If only.
So now, things are back to a relatively normal interface and all the things should be a lot faster. All the witnesses I run have been updated and should be signaling the new changes once it is their turn. Thank you for bearing with us and REMEMBER TO BE YOU! I always am, even when I'm not.

Great to hear this news, noticed a couple of Witnesses mention they had not been issued blocks.
