This effort is based on a sustainable and environmentally friendly approach, integrating natural solutions such as bamboo reforestation to complement water infrastructure. Below is a detailed summary of the progress made during the months of January, February and March 2025.

Week of January 8th to 11th
The initial activities focused on the search and selection of bamboo plants to establish a nursery. This nursery aims to produce enough plants to reforest areas vulnerable to landslides and, at the same time, contribute to the protection of installed water pipes. This strategy seeks to create a synergy between human work and the natural environment, minimizing the environmental impact.

Week of January 13-17
The seedbed development continued, managing to collect more than 200 bamboo plants. This progress represents a crucial step to guarantee the necessary supply for the reforestation activities planned in the coming weeks.

Week of January 20-24
During this week, the transfer of plants from the seedbed to the areas designated for planting began. In addition, progress was made on the installation of a section of hose and specific cleaning tasks were carried out in key areas. At this stage, 1500 meters of hose were incorporated using 15 rolls, ensuring efficient execution in accordance with the established plans.

Además, se avanzó en la instalación de un tramo de manguera y se realizaron tareas específicas de limpieza en zonas clave. En esta etapa, se incorporaron 1500 metros de manguera utilizando 15 rollos, asegurando una ejecución eficiente y acorde con los planes establecidos.
Week of January 27 to February 2
The team maintained a constant pace of work, focusing on two main activities: planting bamboo and installing additional meters of hose. These tasks were complemented by the continuous cleaning of the areas involved, consolidating significant progress in this phase of the project.

El equipo mantuvo un ritmo constante de trabajo, enfocándose en dos actividades principales: la siembra de bambú y la instalación de metros adicionales de manguera. Estas labores fueron complementadas con la limpieza continua de las áreas intervenidas, consolidando un progreso significativo en esta fase del proyecto.

Progress was also made in installing an initial section of hose for the irrigation system and specific cleaning tasks were carried out in key areas. During this stage, 1500 meters of hose were incorporated using 15 rolls, guaranteeing efficient execution in accordance with the established plans.

An exhaustive revision of the state of the transplanted plants is carried out and any inconvenience detected is corrected. The following planting and maintenance stages are also planned.

Week of February 17-22
Maintenance activities in the planted areas are intensified, including the removal of weeds. At the same time, progress is being made in preparing the land in new areas designated for planting, ensuring that they meet optimal conditions, as well as the progress of the project with the anchoring of more meters of hoses.

Se intensifican las actividades de mantenimiento en las áreas sembradas, incluyendo la eliminación de malezas. Paralelamente, se avanza en la preparación del terreno en nuevas zonas designadas para la siembra, asegurando que cumplan con las condiciones óptimas, así como el progreso del proyecto con el anclaje de más metros de mangueras.
Week of February 24-March 1
Planting is carried out in the new prepared areas and adjustments are made to the system to cover all the worked areas. In addition, a general evaluation of the progress of the project to date is carried out, identifying possible improvements and necessary adjustments.

Se procede con la siembra en las nuevas áreas preparadas y se realizan ajustes al sistema para cubrir todas las zonas trabajadas. Además, se lleva a cabo una evaluación general del progreso del proyecto hasta el momento, identificando posibles mejoras y ajustes necesarios.

Focus is placed on constant monitoring, implementing corrective measures as necessary. Detailed planning for the following phases of the project is also initiated, establishing specific goals and schedules. These activities allow for orderly and efficient progress in the project, meeting the objectives set at each stage.

Se enfoca en el monitoreo constante implementando medidas correctivas según sea necesario. También se da inicio a la planificación detallada para las siguientes fases del proyecto, estableciendo metas y cronogramas específicos. Estas actividades permiten mantener un avance ordenado y eficaz en el proyecto, cumpliendo con los objetivos planteados en cada etapa.
Results Achieve
Over the months, the team has demonstrated a high level of commitment and efficiency in the execution of the planned activities. To date, the following achievements have been consolidated:
Successful development of the seedbed with more than 200 bamboo plants collected.
Beginning of reforestation in critical areas for the protection of the water system.
Progressive installation of 6000 meters of hose using 60 rolls, ensuring adequate water distribution.
These results reflect solid planning, precise technical execution and unwavering commitment by the team. Despite the challenges presented, such as logistical difficulties and adverse weather conditions, progress so far is encouraging.
