Uğur Kokoreç is a well-known and famous place in Nergiz, Karsiyaka. I went there for the first time and heard the name for the first time. However, according to my friend, it had been there for years. I think it has changed location a couple of times. All this information does not interest me much. If I go there again, I will go again, even if I am hungry. I'm not a fan of any food. If I am hungry, I will eat somehow. If I have people with me, I never refuse their choice.
Kokoreç is a food that I am not sure if it is made in any country other than Turkey, but I have never heard of it being made anywhere else, either from foreigners or from friends abroad. It is an offal dish. I don't know which offal it is made from or how it is made, and knowing these details can be nauseating. I see it in cylindrical form, hung in front of the fire in kokoreç shops. And I don't want to have more information about it than that. Because I don't want to remove kokoreç from my life, which I love to eat. 😂
When I came to Izmir, I learned that there are different kinds of kokoreç in Turkey. The people of Izmir, who are different in everything, also have different kokoreç. I am not a person with a developed palate to notice these differences. Before, I've come across some of my friends who prefer to have the inside of the bread removed, to be sliced thinner, to have more or less bitterness, to have more or less greens🥬 inside. How do I prefer it? "One, half a bread kokoreç". Don't ask me for details, because I don't know. 😂 Put down the half bread with kokoreç and buttermilk as soon as possible. Just don't let it get cold. 😂
I liked the usual kokoreç (half a bread without any details) I had at Uğur Kokoreç. I knew I would like it because I couldn't tell the difference unless it was very bad and I had been hungry for a long time before I ate it. My friend "Mayk" liked it too. He knows this kind of stuff. And he said the kokorec here is very good.
I forgot to introduce Mayk. Mayk is his nickname. Sometimes we forget his name because everyone calls him that. He is Turkish and he has a Turkish name. In fact, the word Mayk is also Turkish. Because when I asked him how his nickname is spelled, he told me "As it sounds". 😂 Mayk is a very active and enjoyable friend. He has at least three sentences about everything that has existed, exists and will exist in the world. 😂 Actually, I don't like this kind of people, which I call "three sentences", except Mayk. 😂 Because his sentences are also enjoyable. 😂
I'm very happy with Uğur Kokoreç, where we went with Mayk and his recommendation 😂 It was a pleasant time. I recommend those who don't know Kokoreç to look around and taste it if they can find it. For those who don't like it, I have nothing to say. Not everyone likes everything. By the way, because I was so hungry again, by the time I remembered to take a photo, we had wiped out the whole table. 😂 Stay happy and peaceful. Don't stay hungry...😂

Merhaba arkadaşlar! Dün gece, evde ders çalışırken, huzurla sesini dinlediğim yağmurdan sonra, bugün, çok güzel bir havayla güne başladım. Gene yollardayım. Bitmek bilmeyen yollarda. Ama bana sorarsanız, size şunu söylerim; “Yer değiştirme sıfır.” 😂 Dönüp dolaşıp, bir şekilde, evimin yolunu buluyorum. Sadece, aradaki süreçte, belirsiz bir macera akıp gidiyor. Belirsizliğin içerisinde, sürekli yenilenen ve mekanlar ve insanlar oluyor. Bugün size bir arkadaşımı ve güzel bir lokantayı tanıtacağım.
Uğur Kokoreç, Karşıyaka, Nergiz’de bilinen ve meşhur bir yer. Ben ilk defa gittim ve ilk defa bu ismi duydum. Halbuki, arkadaşımın söylediğine göre, orası yıllardır varmış. Galiba birkaç kez yer değiştirmiş. Bütün bu bildiler, beni çok ilgilendirmiyor. Oraya bir daha yolum düşerse, aç da olursam tekrar giderim. Herhangi bir yemeğin hastası, değilim. Karnım açıklığında, bir şekilde, karnımı doyururum. Eğer yanımda birleri varsa, onların tercihlerini hiç geri çevirmem.
Kokoreç, Türkiye dışında, herhangi bir ülkede yapılıp yapılmadığından emin olmamakla birlikte, daha önce, yabancılardan veya Yurt dışında bulunan arkadaşlarımdan, başka bir yerde yapıldığını duymadığım bir yiyecek. Bu bir sakatat yemeği. Hangi sakatattan, nasıl yapıldığını bilmiyorum. Zaten bu ayrıntıları bilmek mide bulandırıcı seviyelere ulaşabiliyor. Ben, Kokoreççilerde, silindir şeklinde, ateşin önüne asılmış halini görüyorum. Ve hakkında, bundan daha fazla bilgiye sahip olmak istemiyorum. Çünkü severek yediğim kokoreçi hayatımdan çıkarmak istemem. 😂
Türkiye’de çeşitli kokoreçler olduğunu, İzmir’e geldiğimde öğrendim. Her şeyleri farklı olan İzmir Halkı’nın kokoreçleri de farklı oluyormuş. Ben bu farkları, çok fark edecek kadar damak tadı gelişmiş bir insan değilim. Daha önce, bazı arkadaşlarımın, ekmeğin içini aldırtanından, daha ince kıyılmasını, acısının fazla veya az olmasını, içerisinde yeşillik🥬 olup olmamasını tercih edenleri ile karşılaştım. Ben nasıl mı tercih ediyorum? “Bir tane, yarım ekmek kokoreç”. Bana ayrıntı sormayın, çünkü bilmiyorum. 😂 İçerisinde, kokoreç olan yarım ekmeği ve ayranı bırakın bir an önce. Soğuk olmasın yeter.😂
Uğur Kokoreçte yediğim, her zamankinden (Ayrıntısız yarım ekmek) kokoreçi beğendim. Zaten çok kötü olmadığı sürece farkı anlayamadığım ve yemeden önce uzun süredir aç olduğum için beğeneceğimi biliyordum. Arkadaşım “Mayk” da çok beğendi. O bu tarz işlerden anlar. Ve burasının kokoreçinin çok güzel olduğunu söyledi.
Size Mayk’ı tanıtmayı unuttum. Mayk, onun lakabı. Herkes ona böyle söylediği için bazen ismini unutuyoruz. O bir Türk ve Türkçe bir ismi var. Aslına bakarsanız Mayk kelimesi de Türkçe sayılır. Çünkü ona lakabının nasıl yazıldığını sorduğumda, bana “Okunduğu gibi” dedi. 😂 Mayk çok hareketli ve keyifli bir arkadaşım. Dünya üzerinde var olmuş, var olan ve var olacak olan her şey hakkında en az üç cümlelik fikri var. 😂 Aslında ben kendimce, “üç cümlelik” diye isimlendirdiğim bu tarz insanları, çok sevmiyorum. Mayk hariç. 😂 Çünkü onun cümleleri de keyifli. 😂
Mayk ve onun önerisiyle gittiğimiz Uğur Kokoreç’ten gayet memnunum. 😂 Keyifli bir zaman dilimiydi. Kokoreç’i bilmeyenlere, etraflarına bakınıp, bulabilirlerse tatmalarını tavsiye ederim. Sevmeyenlere ise diyecek hiçbir sözüm yok. Herkes, her şeyi sevmeyebilir. Bu arada, gene çok aç olduğum için, fotoğrafını çekmeyi akıl ettiğimde, bütün masayı silip süpürmüştük. 😂 Mutluluk ve huzurla kalın. Aç kalmayın…😂
