Hello friends, you know that yesterday was the holy sunday and it would not be possible to spend a day without evaluating it. A few days ago, my friends and I made a plan for Sunday and decided to go to Sarıyer. We packed up and had breakfast, then got ready and set off. The weather was cold, but the happiness and energy of being with my beloved friends made you forget the coldness of the air. Our first stop was Rumeli Kavağı. Rumeli Kavağı is actually a nice residential area to go in the summer evenings, to relax away from the crowd and traffic of calm and sweet Istanbul. We learned from the local tradesmen that the mussels of Rumeli Kavağı are famous. Of course, I couldn't leave without trying, as I love to eat too much. After we ate the stomachs, we jumped into the car again and took the road to Sarıyer.
Merhabalar arkadaşlar, biliyorsunuz ki dün kutsal pazardı ve bunu değerlendirmeden gün geçirmek tabiki olmazdı. Birkaç gün öncesinden arkadaşlarımla pazar gününün planını yaptık ve Sarıyer'e gitmeye karar verdik. Toplanıp kahvaltı yaptık ardından hazırlanıp yola koyulduk. Hava soğuktu ama sevdiğim arkadaşlarımla olmanın verdiği mutluluk, enerji havanın soğukluğunu unutturuyordu. İlk durağımız Rumeli kavağı oldu. Rumeli Kavağı aslında tam yaz akşamları gitmelik, sakin tatlı İstanbul'un kalabalığından, trafiğinden uzak kafa dinlemek için güzel bir yerleşim alanı. Rumeli Kavağı' nın midyesi meşhurmuş çevredeki esnaflardan öğrendik. Tabi ki yemek yemeyi aşırı seven ben denemeden gidemezdim. Mideyleri yedikten sonra tekrar araca atladık ve Sarıyer'in yolunu tuttuk.
On the way to Sarıyer, we listened to the songs and folk songs that we all love, and we sang karaoke by ourselves. We parked the car on Sarıyer beach, filled our tea in a thermos cup and took a walk along the promenade. Since it was evening, we did not walk very long, we looked for a nice place and came to a covered tea garden right at the bottom of the sea. While sipping our coffee and tea, chatting, joking, watching the fishermen in the sea in the cold of the evening, watching the seagulls float around the ship and trying to make use of the fish was very enjoyable.
Sarıyer'e giderken sırayla hepimizin sevdiği şarkıları, türküleri son ses dinleyip, kendimizce karaoke yaptık. Sarıyer sahilde aracı park edip termos bardağa çaylarımızı doldurup kordon boyu yürüyüş yaptık. Vakit akşama geldiğinden dolayı çok uzun yürümedik, güzel bir mekan aradık ve denizin tam dibinde olan kapalı bir çay bahçesine geldik. Kahve ve çaylarımızı yudumlarken bir yandan sohbet muhabbet, şakalaşmalar bir yandan akşam soğuğunda denizde balık tutanları izlemek ve geminin etrafının martılarla süzülmesi, onlarında balıktan faydalanmaya çalışmaları çok keyif vericiydi.
As the conversation deepened, we did not understand how the time passed, and when we looked at the clock, we realized that it was late. We paid the bill and got up from the table, and on our way to the car, we stumbled upon the pet shop. The clothes and the items caught my attention a lot. I wanted to buy something for Pıtırcık and Çıtırcık. When we entered the store, we were even happier when we saw that there were not only clothes and lots of fish, birds, parrots and rabbits inside. I was going to spend some time with them and buy clothes when I saw that the clothes were unnecessarily expensive and gave up. We got in the car and made our way home. In the vehicle, we set off by evaluating songs and folk songs on the one hand, and evaluating the day on the other. We presented plan ideas for other days and went home. Sohbet koyulaştıkça vaktin nasıl geçtiğini anlamadık ve saate baktığımızda geç olduğunu farkettik. Hesabı ödeyip masadan kalktık, tam araca doğru giderken petshopa rastladık. Kıyafetler, eşyalar dikkatimi çok çekti. Pıtırcık ve Çıtırcığa birşeyler almak istedim. Mağazaya girdiğimizde sadece kıyafet olmadığını ve içeride bir sürü balık, kuş, papağan, tavşanı görünce daha da mutlu olduk. Biraz onlarla vakit geçirip kıyafet alacaktım ki kıyafetlerin gereksiz pahalı olduğunu görüp vazgeçtim. Araca geçip evin yolunu tuttuk. Araçta yine bir yandan şarkı, türküler bir yandan günün değerlendirmesini yaparak yola koyulduk. Başka günler için plan fikirleri sunduk ve evlerimize geçtik. Diğer planlarımızı ve gezilerimiz de görüşmek üzere.☺️☺️

That looks like a must visit place to me. Harbors are always fascinating me and that tea! I know Turkish tea is strong, so it would be surprising, but good.

Sariyer sahil şeridini seviyorum, dar olmasina karsin cok kalabalik olmuyor. Merkezde hakiki Sariyer boregi yemeyi ozledim :)
