Nature has given each gender its traits. These traits make them unique. With each gender, they have what they suffer and what will make their life better. Mensuration has become something part of the female gender. It comes every month they have their days on which it flows. It ranges from person to person.
Mensuration it’s the natural phenomenon that deals with breaking the unfertilized eggs and thus ovaries. These ovaries break out and bleed out. That’s the monthly flow of women we call mensuration. This comes with its ways these females should be kept clear. Their health is always at stake as they need things to improve this period.
This takes us to the menstrual hygiene. During mensuration, these females need pads to cover the blood and it will be disposed of. As this blood comes, if it doesn’t get proper care or the necessary attention, it leads to odor from the side of the lady and it stays with her forever.
As we are passionate about change as hive. The pharmacy department of the University for Development Students has come out with awareness creation and to fund a way to help growing ladies who can’t afford these pads, menstrual cups, and others. They are looking at students who can’t afford this yet they menstruate. They want to give them the chance to be healthy and to promote their hygiene after they have menstruated. This program they are organizing is coming off on May 28, 2024. We have 5 days to go.
Their need is if they can get 5 HBD per student to help support the students they are targeting. For a start, they are approximating students of about 400. After this maybe if there is a need to do more, other measures will be taken to help support the situation.
I then call on hive witnesses, stakeholders, and everyone on board to help make the lives of these females better. They didn’t choose to menstruate. It’s not their fault they don’t have money to buy what is needed when mensuration. Help a lady today and she will be grateful for the support.

STOPIt is good to know thatva team of students have taken the initiative to help their fellows.
I haven't researched on the matter myself but a friend of mine, who was a pharmacy student, told me that a piece of fabric is a better choice than the sythetic pads for menstruation. According to her, these pads, due to the use of chemicals in them are becoming a reason to damage women's health even to the extent of causing cancers.
I think that was what informed their decision to do this. Thanks for supporting .
