I used to play this game a lot as a child and I loved it. I remember then in children’s church, we would dig the holes in the earth and fill them with stones or draw the 12 boxes on the floor. I never played it with the ayo seeds or board but we played it exactly the same as you described.

That is true. It is played also by digging the holes outside, that is an outdoor side of it. Thanks for coming around.
