She makes our Town more Colorful 🖌️🎨😍

Hello Hive Ladies,

Yesterday @trangbaby called me to join the @ladiesofhive contest held by @melinda010100, however, I've already written something about my hometown friend, so I will share with you first a story about her here.

I always admire artists who can turn something simple into beautiful artwork which I cannot do the same. Probably it's a reason why I consider this work magical. I am lucky to have a friend who often shows magic work every day. I must say she is a real artist with a creative mind, she sees things in a different way which brings her passion to make them more colorful. Her name is Yen Jo and let's see what she has done,

Unique fashion style

Fancy clothes from famous brands actually don't make you much different and unique, however, when wearing these tailor-made designed fashion, you will stand out, as it's only one. Personally, I don't like wearing trendy clothes that many people wear. I often buy plain shirts, dresses from normal stores then make them in different designs, and Yen has helped me to brainstorm what I want to do into beautiful sets that suit my shape and style very well.

Sometimes, she encourages me to learn and paint on my own, however, my painting never looks as stunning as she does.

The lovely thing that I got recently was a handmade scarf which I am going to use in the coming winter. She used a piece of linen and leather to make it for me. It looks simple, but it's well-matched to my whole suits

Colorful life

Paintings become more special when they transmit meaningful messages that prevent the spread of the virus, human connection during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to Yen's painting class, I could stay strong and positive these days while we are under lockdown for several months.

In this painting, she recalled her grateful moments when she saw a stranger sharing his food with a little girl selling lottery tickets on a sidewalk.

Since last week, we have practiced gratitude together. I love the way she appreciates all the little natural beauty surrounding her. Everything that we found from gardens or markets, can become our models and so appealing.

Eggplants before cooking are also captured in our pieces of paper.

Another random tree that we found in the garden.

Fruits these days become high-end desserts that even though you have money, you cannot buy because almost no one sells them at markets. Painting holds my fruit dream ;)
Words sometimes cannot express my feelings enough, especially when it's not my first language. I hope her paintings can bring you some good vibes and somehow motivate your talent skill ;)

What a pity that she is not here to share her passion, I wish she could accept my invitation to join Hive and our lady community soon.
