The effect of the global pandemic!
I vividly recollect when the coronavirus took place in this world, individuals lost so many positions at the workplace, humanity was on the verge of collapsing, the world crumbling down at the feet of this dreadful pandemic, shopping malls and major markets shut down. To me, at that very point honestly you know what I thought was happening?? I said, “is this rapture taking place already?” or “is this a biological weapon released to end humanity?”, I was scared to the bones!
It's always said that bad things can sometimes bore out new challenges, new opportunities, and an uplifting breakthrough because when it seems one door closes another opens ushering in new ideas or perhaps an alternative solution... likewise saying every disappointment is a blessing ... it works right?!
Online commerce has been in existence for as long as I know but it wasn't so super-practical more like well recognized, it has been ongoing in the background of the commerce world even before the pandemic hit the world, it wasn't so obvious as a constant and rapid effect.
So when COVID-19 came around, online commerce was running at approximately 97% maximum, mostly everything done at work, offices, or let's say in a workplace was virtually online! I don't think it's a routine anymore it became the norm! Up to the extent that Sunday service, weddings, child dedication, and so forth, were performed online! You get to see your family relations online too!... but that's it for now!

TRUST: This is very essential if you are building up a customer's courage to purchase from you because it's with trust you activate the willingness or ability of a customer to make a swift purchase. It's vital essentiality in the online industry.
AUTHENTICITY: The originality of a product sample on the internet or any selling platform could make a customer want to have this in his/her possession because it would ensure that the product/item bought would be long lasting and worth the purchase. This would drive such customers to buy more perhaps patronize you more!
DURABILITY: This talks about how long delivery can take place, most people love their items brought ASAP because they can't wait to have them or explore them, so it should be put into ultimate consideration cause sometimes when it takes so long the recipient would get tired of the excitement would drop gradually.
ASSURANCE: This covers the faith that what you ordered would be what you got not the other way around. Giving your customers assurance that they are buying from a reliable source and they see that's true would give them the assurance and continuality of doing business with you.
CUSTOMER RELATIONS: This factor seems to be very effective in retaining a customer. Having a well-mannered conversation with your client would give the customer the clue you are very mature to handle business prospects.
If these are found in favor when during the process of purchasing it would accelerate the order!
Sometimes I love online purchasing because if I don't get to see what I want in a shopping mall, I see them online, and yes!! I love shopping online!!
Have You Had A Bad Purchase, The Product You Ordered Did Not Arrive On Time, Or Was Not What Was Expected??
Have I had a bad purchase? the answer is no I haven't because I put the elements I listed above first before making payments, and sometimes I follow my intuitions it guilds me properly to avoid making blunders, once I feel something is off with this order, I try as much as possible to not push further.
I normally do my purchases on Jumia, so it's already stated that there is a maximum of 3 days before the delivery gets to you so I have zero worries because I know when I'm expecting it is only when I didn't expect it on time I begin to fuss a lot or perhaps lose interest.
People are scared when it comes to what I ordered versus what I got, it's truly heartbreaking and devastating because the high hopes have been shattered. There is no joy like ordering something online and getting it exactly the way it was seen

Tbh, my experience so far has been really great! I had no cause for alarm, even though I wasn't so sure that I would receive my items, yeah! I had the risk concept or mindset whatever you call it! It helps me overlook certain things and keeps me focused on another thing.
“Risk” as bad as it may sound to you is one of the things that happen in business that can never be exempted at all! So it's like, “Take it or leave it” kind of thing. I have seen people rate selling hubs low because of a damaged item delivered to them, I have seen so lamenting here and there about being scammed of their money, I have seen what-i-ordered-versus-what-i-got thing very disappointing but I haven't experienced these maybe likely because I select vendors or observe them for a while before buying anything at all!
