Most scholars acknowledge that Dec 25 is not Jesus's birthday. The Catholic church chose that day in a attempt to convert pagans who were worshipping the Roman Diety Saturn which is tied to winter Solstice. A closer birthday would be mid September.

I don't personally know that. But on the 25th of December, we celebrate his birth. The liturgical year is followed in the Catholic Church, and these are the Advent days, leading to Christmas.
