Hola mis amigas, paso por aquí para responder las preguntas de esta semana del Ladies of Hive Community Contest #122
¿Por qué crees que la sociedad da tanto valor a la belleza, cuando no tiene ningún propósito funcional?
En la actualidad la sociedad le da un alto valor a la belleza porque es algo que causa bienestar o placer, es ineludible que este proceso viene desde hace muchos años atrás, ahora con la tecnología se ha enraizado mucho más.
Desde que los bebes entienden la condición de algo que está bien o algo que está mal, muchas veces como padres también enseñamos alguien que tiene belleza y al que no y de inmediatos les generamos la aceptación o rechazo. No es culpa del niño que va creciendo apartar a alguien que inclusive que tenga un color de piel diferente a él, somos nosotros los que les sembramos ese concepto.
Continuando con la belleza, a nivel mundial se a creado un patrón de cómo debería ser el físico de una persona, y cuando una persona no cumple con ese patrón no es aceptada, ejemplo; en los concursos de belleza tenemos la muestra más denigrante para una mujer, yo no estoy de acuerdo en estos concursos, ósea un concurso donde dan a conocer la mujer más bella del mundo se gana un premio. Los estándares físicos de las mayorías de las mujeres a nivel mundial no son exactamente iguales a las exigencias de estos concursos, y es que es lamentable como el mercado inyecta mensajes, y mensajes a la sociedad de cómo debería ser una persona bien, bella ante el mundo, definiendo reglas físicas, e inclusive actitudinales.
Y como lo dije anterior mente este estereotipo viene desde muchos años atrás cuando los griegos establecían que “Quien es bello es amado, quien no es bello no es amado”, se tomaba en consideración las conductas, el actuar de las personas y eso al mismo tiempo definía su belleza impetuosidad ante la sociedad.
Es lamentable como el tema de la belleza es un tema de hablar económico, grandes empresas a nivel mundial establecen prototipos y condiciones físicas para vender un producto. Hemos adoptado esa cultura y es lamentable como en el mundo de la belleza la persona es más un objeto que un sujeto.
¿En qué trabajo serías absolutamente terrible?
Bueno mis amigas una de las cosas que nunca he logrado y no quiero hacer porque me aterra es tratar con sangre, o algo que tenga que ver con eso, “ser enfermera” sería un desastre, en la primera que tenga que curar a alguien con una herida y tenga que suturar o algo así, allí me desmayo; limpiar abscesos, o curar cosas que supuren… no tolero, nada de eso, ósea vomitaría al paciente, y me desmayaría y tendrían que atenderme también, jajajajaja.

Why do you think society places so much value on beauty, when it has no functional purpose?
Nowadays society gives a high value to beauty because it is something that causes well-being or pleasure, it is inescapable that this process comes from many years ago, now with technology it has become much more rooted.
Since babies understand the condition of something that is good or something that is bad, many times as parents we also teach someone who has beauty and someone who does not and immediately we generate acceptance or rejection. It is not the fault of the child who is growing up to push away someone who even has a different skin color than him, we are the ones who sow them that concept.
Continuing with beauty, worldwide a pattern has been created of how the physique of a person should be, and when a person does not meet that standard is not accepted, example, in beauty pageants we have the most degrading sample for a woman, I do not agree in these contests, ie a contest where they make known the most beautiful woman in the world wins a prize. The physical standards of most women worldwide are not exactly equal to the demands of these contests, and it is unfortunate how the market injects messages, and messages to society of how it should be a good person, beautiful to the world, defining physical rules, and even attitudinal.
And as I said before, this stereotype comes from many years ago when the Greeks established that "Who is beautiful is loved, who is not beautiful is not loved", they took into consideration the behaviors, the actions of people and that at the same time defined their beauty and impetuosity before society.
It is unfortunate how the issue of beauty is an issue of economic talk, large companies worldwide establish prototypes and physical conditions to sell a product. We have adopted that culture and it is unfortunate how in the world of beauty the person is more an object than a subject.
What job would you be absolutely terrible at?
Well my friends, one of the things that I have never been able to do and I don't want to do because it terrifies me is to deal with blood, or something that has to do with that, "being a nurse" would be a disaster, the first time I have to cure someone with a wound and I have to suture or something like that, I would faint; cleaning abscesses, or curing things that ooze... I can't tolerate any of that, I would vomit the patient, and I would faint and they would have to attend me too, hahahahahahaha.
