Al hablar de liderazgo muchos lo relacionan con el hecho de tener un cargo de alto nivel dentro de una empresa o sencillamente con ser hombre, son condicionamientos que socialmente han prevalecido pero que por naturaleza, son habilidades que pueden ser desarrolladas por cualquier ser humano: sea hombre o mujer.
When talking about leadership, many people relate it to the fact of having a high level position within a company or simply to being a man; these are conditioning factors that have prevailed socially, but by nature, they are skills that can be developed by any human being, be it a man or a woman.
Hace pocos días, tuve la oportunidad de compartir un ciclo de conferencias donde el tema central fue: Liderazgo Femenino, estuvimos 4 mujeres enfocadas en una misma temática, realzando el papel protagónico y las habilidades que como mujeres tenemos en la sociedad, desenvolviéndonos en diferentes ámbitos y rindiendo de manera efectiva en cada rol que desempeñamos. Esta actividad se llevó a cabo en la ciudad de Barinas - Venezuela, acompañados de una tarde de lluvia que no limitó la asistencia de un extraordinario público.
A few days ago, I had the opportunity to share a series of conferences where the central theme was: Women's Leadership, we were 4 women focused on the same topic, enhancing the leading role and skills that we as women have in society, developing in different areas and performing effectively in every role we play. This activity took place in the city of Barinas - Venezuela, accompanied by a rainy afternoon that did not limit the attendance of an extraordinary public.
Cada una con un objetivo, compartió su perspectiva con el público que asistió, destacando los compromisos que debemos asumir a través de nuestras acciones y decisiones. Una de las conferencistas fue Eddimar Ramos quien instó a todos a darles a los jóvenes las herramientas para su crecimiento y reconocimiento de sus potencialidades, de manera que se conviertan en dueños de sus vidas.
Each one with an objective, shared their perspective with the audience, highlighting the commitments we must make through our actions and decisions. One of the speakers was Eddimar Ramos who urged everyone to give young people the tools for their growth and recognition of their potential, so that they become masters of their lives.
Seguidamente, nos acompañó Francelys Zamuria, con el poder la actitud, recordándonos lo esencial y fundamental de saber afrontar cada momento que nos toca atravesar y vivir, manteniendo el ímpetu que nos caracteriza y haciendo que nuestras decisiones puedan generar resultados que asimilemos con una actitud de madurez.
Next, Francelys Zamuria accompanied us, with the power of attitude, reminding us how essential and fundamental it is to know how to face each moment we go through and live, maintaining the momentum that characterizes us and making our decisions can generate results that we assimilate with an attitude of maturity.
Luego, fue mi turno, y mi intención fue destacar el liderazgo natural de la mujer, pues toda mujer es lider, pero no todo lider es mujer, pues tenemos la capacidad de hacer diversidad de cosas que nos permiten pensar y accionar de manera paralela, cumpliendo con tareas asignadas o definidas en nuestra cotidianidad. A su vez, recordando que en ese transitar, se descubrirán adversidades que conllevan a accionar con prudencia, reconociendo que todo líder se cae, se equivoca y se descuida, con la mirada en levantarse, aprender y equilibrarse.
Then, it was my turn, and my intention was to highlight the natural leadership of women, because every woman is a leader, but not every leader is a woman, because we have the ability to do a variety of things that allow us to think and act in parallel, fulfilling tasks assigned or defined in our daily lives. At the same time, remembering that in this journey, adversities will be discovered that lead to act with prudence, recognizing that every leader falls, makes mistakes and neglects, with the aim of getting up, learning and balancing.
Finalmente, el ciclo de conferencias lo cerró una jóven, Mariangi Saavedra, quien hizo énfasis en el liderarse a uno mismo, reconocerse a uno mismo para poder liderar a otros, ser ejemplo con nuestras acciones y nuestro comportamiento, pues el reflejo de nuestro interior se ve en nuestras acciones.
Finally, the cycle of conferences was closed by a young woman, Mariangi Saavedra, who emphasized the importance of leading oneself, recognizing oneself in order to lead others, being an example with our actions and our behavior, since the reflection of our inner self is seen in our actions.
Definitivamente, nos toca seguir desarrollando y aprovechando tanto nuestras capacidades como habilidades, tanto hombres como mujeres, pues somos ejemplo para todos, y nuestra sociedad requiere de lideres en todo su esplendor, dispuestos a compartir y ayudar a quienes les rodean, y empezar por nosotros es el primer paso.
It is definitely up to us to continue developing and taking advantage of our abilities and skills, both men and women, because we are an example for everyone, and our society requires leaders in all their splendor, willing to share and help those around them, and starting with us is the first step.
