Statistically, women tend to be more spiritual than men. From whatever faith — Protestant, Catholic, Muslim, Buddhist, Wiccan, or other — how did it become your faith? What delights, insights, and joys have you discovered?

So this is the question of the week from ladies of Hive community. I am delighted to share about my belief, and I am glad that it has provided me the delights and insights which were unknown to me.

I was born in a Muslim family, so when my mother gave me a birth, my father took me in his hands, and recite some words in my ears, which are called Azan. These words are recited in the ears of every newborn, to make him realize that he is born in Muslim family.

Being brought up as Muslim, I am now completely aware about the beliefs of Muslims, and now my belief is even more strengthen, when I am exploring more things with my own insight and knowledge. Almighty Allah is the creator of this universe, and nothing is out of his knowledge. We are his worshipers and always seek help from his mercy.

What delights, insights, and joys have you discovered?

Slowly when I grow up, I noticed the changing of day and night. The sun rises at its perfect time, and sunset brought the night at our walls. We experience four seasons, and everyone has its own specialty. How beautifully flowers bloom to enhance the beauty of environment, and how deep and broad these seas are. Birds fly in the heights of sky, and every little creature of this universe asks us a question.

"Have you ever noticed that there is some great power who is working behind it? Actually it's the workmanship of the omnipotent Allah, who is the creator of this universe."

Prayers

Prayer is a great source of joy and delight for me. Every day, we offer prayers five time a day, and seek help from his mercy, which provides us eternal peace and satisfaction. Anything we need, we can ask from him, and he (SWT) will surly grant us at its perfect timing. Prayer connects our heart and mind to Allah, and strengthen our bond with him.

Islam is the most peaceful religion, which give us the lesson of peace and unity. Its foundation relies on five pillars, belief, worship, fasting, almsgiving, and pilgrimage.

This life is mortal

Being a Muslim the biggest insight I gained is the mortality of this life, which is going to end one day, and real life is the hereafter. The life we are living is meaningless, and death can arrive at anytime. So we should always be ready to meet our maker, where only our good deeds will be counted.

I see God's handiwork in nature as fallen as it may be, is still magnificent, so detailed and complex such it cannot evolve by shear accident as scientists theorized. Could you even imagine it far better, or perfect, in the Garden of Eden or in heaven?
May he inspire all to do good and make peace among men.

Thank you @farahikram for participating 🌻
