1️⃣ According to my post retirement financial model, I could almost afford an overseas trip every other year. I'd like my Hive sisters or brothers to plan my 3-day visit to your home town or city. What would we do and where would we go for me to experience your culture?

Woah this is very thoughtful of you I must confess, a trip overseas and getting to know about other people's culture is not just exciting but educating because you'd learn new things about each culture, the reason, it's origin, the reason behind a particular belief etc.
Personally I'm not the outgoing type but because you have money to spend and it'd mean a lot to you and me as well, I'm in.
I'm from Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria. Nigeria on her own is a beautiful Country if not the best for tourism because we have numerous ethnic groups and cultures. But since the emphasis is on my Hometown or city I'd bring you down to Uyo in Akwa Ibom State.
Uyo is a beautiful City filled with beautiful touring centers which even as an indigene I haven't visited 90% of them(I'm that boring🥴)
Here's a list of places I'd take you to:
- Ibom deep seaport
- Ibaka seaport
- Godswill Akpabio international Stadium
- Ibom Worship center
- Tropican/Market Square
And many more beautiful places.
But talking about culture, If you visit during festives from 1st December to 31st December you'd witness the Akwa Ibom State culture well display and Presented.
We call it cultural December, it started 2019 during the reign of our former Governor.
In AKWA IBOM STATE we have 31 Local Government Areas and we know there's 31 days in December. The idea is that each Local Government displays it's cultural heritage alphabetically on each day/date.
During those times people from all works of life come to witness our culture firsthand as it is presented in the open for both indigene and non-indigene to witness and learn.
Another beautiful presentation and annual ritual is the CALABAR Carnival, I can't say much on this because I was born to hear about it but trust me when I say it's a beautiful and colorful display, that's another event lots of people travel down to calabar to witness.
So yes, I'd definitely take you to witness this beautiful display of our cultural heritage, I promise it'd be an incredible experience.
Afterwards we can visit other beautiful places if you wish.
