| Mi comida favorita para las fiestas sería la Hallaca y es que estás contiene los ingredientes más importantes, los cuales serían: el pernil, la carne, el pollo, las pasas, el huevo, etc, espero todo el año ansiosa a que llegue diciembre para poder comerme una Hallaca, ya que es un poco costoso hacerlo y trabajoso, por lo que solamente la preparamos una vez al año. | My favorite food for the holidays would be the Hallaca and it contains the most important ingredients, which would be: the pork leg, meat, chicken, raisins, eggs, etc., I wait all year anxiously for December to come to eat a Hallaca, as it is a bit expensive and laborious to do it, so we only prepare it once a year. |

Mi gusto por esta comidad no se basa solo en su sabor y sazón, sino también en la alegría que está trae al momento de prepararla, y es que se necesitan varias manos para que el proceso sea más fácil, permitiendo así pasar un divertido rato en familia. Siempre preferible hacerlas en casa, ya que no todo el mundo sabe preparar una buena Hallaca, hubo una ocasión en ella cual decidimos como familia que no la haríamos si no que sería mejor comprarlas para evitarnos el trabajo y déjenme decirles que no nos salió para nada bien jajajaja, así que mi consejo para ustedes es que si van a hacer esto que sea una persona de confianza que tenga buen sabor. |

Hello @gigi8. Yes, I have read on numerous posts that the hallaca is the traditional Venezuelan dish for the holiday.

Las hallacas son el mejor invento y el mejor regalo para la Navidad de todos los venezolanos. Yo soy de las que cuando ya empieza el mes de junio, empiezo a desear que llegue diciembre para volver a comer hallacas jajajaja. ¡Feliz navidad!
