Why don’t we channel the efforts into fighting insecurity and global economic crises instead playing hypocrisy in the name of religion?
That's a valid point @justina7osun, so much energy and power being misused. A religion is meant to teach one to have empathy and values to validate humanity out of God's love. One would even wonder who are they trying to protect with those enforced morals, Surely it can't be women if we still get killed under the same law.
And you are right, it is really important to research the place before visiting and reading reviews. I can put aside the stereotype of the crime rate hoping the law is there to protect me but a country where the law itself can be harmful to me. That is a no-go area!
As simple as that. When religion becomes a threat to human life, it's no longer religion but a cult.
