It is very saddening (and infuriating) what happened to her. Radical change is needed in the laws of a country where women are treated differently. The new generation can be the hope if they initiate the change themselves, otherwise such injustice will carry on and on.

It's left for you and I to first become independent before we can have a voice together. Independent in the sense that every woman knows her right and the law.
True that, unfortunately in some other places, women are forced to accept what their culture (and laws) put them into. It's just heartbreaking...
