Do you consider failing to be less equal or more important than succeeding in life and why?
Show me a man who's succeeding in life, and I'll show you one who has failed many times but learned from his learning process (mistakes). People who understand the act of success know that to achieve success one must have to get it wrong multiple times from the beginning.
No one gets to the top without some element of failure from the onsets, they just refuse to give up, devising other means of doing it better to get it right. Just like Thomas Edison who invented the electric bulb in 1879, we were told he tried for 999th times, it was the 1000th attempt that made the difference. Supposing he stopped after the 2nd, 3rd or 4th try, would he have succeeded? No! But then, it wasn't just about the final outcome but the process .
Everyone likes to be identified with success but not everyone is willing to go through the painful process. Success doesn't just happen overnight, it has some rigorous behind the scenes underworks that many don't see but the carrier. Success is the end result that everyone celebrates. But the truth is, without failure there'd be no success story.
When we try and fail, we should try again and again, we could even take a break and rest instead of getting discouraged and back off. Those who whine and quit do not get to the finish line because they felt they would be criticized or mocked. They do not embrace it as part of the journey so as not to give in and keep trying. There's no success without failure and there's no failure without success if we persevere to the end.
So, failing is as important as succeeding. In it lies lessons that help success to be sustained. In it lies different ways not to have gotten it right which keeps one going, those are part of the journey which should not be neglected. They count because they create room for improvement towards achieving the final results. Just like in the English Alphabet, as one can't get to the letter “Z” without first starting from “A”. Getting to the last letter does not mean that the first letter is of less value. They all add up to make it worthwhile.
Success and failing go hand in hand, encountering challenges in the journey doesn't mean failure, rather it is part of the success story. The clear understanding of this fact makes it a lot easier and gives the needed encouragement to keep going to get to the end.
Thanks for stopping by! 💚

This really hits. Failing is not the opposite of success it is part of it. Every mistake is just a lesson disguised as a setback and your post captures that so well 👍👍
I'm glad it did. Thanks a lot for your heartwarming comment, I appreciate it.

Yes, I agree. Success and failure goes in tandem. One can't be successful without failing.
It is a booster and a teacher. When one fails, the lessons from the failure is taken to the next goal and used to right the weongs that led to the failure.

Imagine if Thomas Edison had stopped after trying just a few times. He had one goal: to succeed, so no matter how many times he failed, he kept trying again and again.
That's the point, to keep trying and don't give up.
Thanks for visiting.
Thank you @ivyann for sharing your thoughts on this weeks question. Failure is a huge part of life, it's when we achieve most growth in life.
