El día de hoy estuve interactuando en la blockchain y me tope con el concurso de la semana y me llamó la atención la siguiente pregunta ¿Cómo describirías los rasgos de una mujer de éxito? Cuando leí la pregunta enseguida me cuestioné ¿qué tan exitosa soy?
Para muchos, el éxito es sinónimo de dinero. Vivir en una mansión, manejar el carro del año, degustar las más extrabagantes exquisiteces, viajar por el mundo en primera clase y hospedarse en hoteles 5 estrellas. En pocas palabras, llevar una vida sofisticada y de lujo.
Por supuesto que el dinero juega un papel fundamental en nuestras vidas y tenemos que aceptarlo, sin él no podríamos satisfacer nuestras primeras necesidades como comer, vestirnos y otras que también son cruciales como la educación, vacacionar y obtener un seguro de salud. Hay que darle la importancia que se merece, pero no sentir apego porque el dinero va y viene. Es un medio para conseguir las cosas materiales que nos hacen la vida más práctica. En pocas palabras, con el dinero podemos solventar nuestros problemas inmediatos, lo cual le da cierta tranquilidad a nuestra existencia.
Por otro lado, el éxito es subjetivo porque va depender de lo que cada mujer quiere en la vida. En mi caso es sentirme plena y feliz por lo logrado. Superar metas y miedos. Sentir que pude a pesar de las circunstancias que se me han presentado en el camino.
Creo que el éxito no es lograr cosas materiales, más bien el éxito está en aquellos intangibles que no puedes usar, oler o tocar. Es sentirse feliz y plena con lo que te apasiona y por haber logrado las metas que te has trazado.
Digo que el éxito es subjetivo porque por ejemplo, para una doctora con vocación creo que la haría feliz salvar la vida de su paciente.
Para una joven bachiller su éxito sería haberse graduado y seguir adelante con lo que desea hacer con su vida. No sé si tal vez siga estudiando o a lo mejor viaje por el mundo.
Para una cocinera su mayor éxito es que le digan que la comida que preparó estaba deliciosa y ver disfrutar a sus comensales tan exquisita comida.
Para una deportista su mayor éxito sería ganar una competencia o simplemente ver cambios en su cuerpo.
Para una ama de casa su mayor éxito es ver a su familia feliz por toda la entrega que hace día a día en mantener un hogar.
Para una mujer con una enfermedad terminal su mayor éxito será su legado. Haber vivido con pasión y haber dejado huella en sus seres queridos.
Puedo seguir enumerando y creo que nunca terminaría. Ser exitosa va a depender de lo que cada mujer quiera lograr en su vida.
Desde el momento que comencé a escribir este post he estado cuestionando mi propio éxito, así que aquí va mi respuesta:
Sí, siento que soy muy exitosa porque soy segura de mí, constante, dedicada, perfeccionista, disciplinada cuando algo me apasiona, decidida en lo que quiero.
Además me siento feliz porque he trabajado duro para lograr lo que he conseguido. Una profesión, una familia hermosa y hacer lo que me gusta todos los días. Me siento plena y a gusto con mi vida.
Creo que para ser feliz y exitosa es importante conseguir eso que tanto nos gusta hacer y apasiona. Siempre dar lo mejor de nosotras en todo momento siendo amable, responsable, respetuosa, humilde, sincera, agradecida, bondadosa, segura de sí y por supuesto sentir amor por lo que hacemos. Ya lo demás es parte de nuestras vidas y tenemos que saber sobrellevarlo.

Today I was interacting on the blockchain and came across the quiz of the week and was struck by the following question How would you describe the traits of a successful woman? When I read the question, I immediately asked myself, how successful am I?
For many, success is synonymous with money. Living in a mansion, driving the car of the year, tasting the most extravagant delicacies, traveling the world in first-class, and staying in 5-star hotels. In short, living a sophisticated and luxurious life.
Of course, money plays a fundamental role in our lives and we have to accept it, without it we would not be able to satisfy our first needs such as eating, dressing, and others that are also crucial such as education, vacations, and health insurance. We have to give it the importance it deserves, but not feel attached because the money comes and goes. It is a means to obtain the material things that make life more practical. In short, with money, we can solve our immediate problems, which gives us some peace of mind about our existence.
On the other hand, success is subjective because it will depend on what each woman wants in life. In my case, it is to feel fulfilled and happy about what I have achieved. Overcoming goals and fears. Feeling that I could despite the circumstances that have been presented to me along the way.
I believe that success is not achieving material things, rather success is in those intangibles that you cannot use, smell or touch. It is feeling happy and fulfilled with what you are passionate about and for having achieved the goals you have set for yourself.
I say that success is subjective because, for example, for a doctor with a vocation, I think it would make her happy to save her patient's life.
For a young high school graduate, her success would be to have graduated and move on with what she wants to do with her life. I don't know if she might continue studying or travel the world.
For a cook, her greatest success would be to be told that the food she prepared was delicious and to see her guests enjoy such exquisite food.
For an athlete, her greatest success would be winning a competition or simply seeing changes in her body.
For a housewife, her greatest success is to see her family happy for all the work she does every day to maintain a home.
For a woman with a terminal illness, her greatest success will be her legacy. To have lived with passion and to have left a mark on her loved ones.
I could go on and on and I don't think I would ever finish. Success depends on what each woman wants to achieve in her life.
From the moment I started writing this post I've been questioning my own success, so here's my answer:
Yes, I feel I am very successful because I am confident, constant, dedicated, perfectionist, disciplined when I am passionate about something, determined in what I want.
I also feel happy because I have worked hard to achieve what I have achieved. A profession, a beautiful family and doing what I love every day. I feel fulfilled and comfortable with my life.
I believe that to be happy and successful it is important to achieve what we love to do and what we are passionate about. Always give the best of ourselves at all times being kind, responsible, respectful, humble, sincere, grateful, kind, self-confident and of course feel love for what we do. The rest is part of our lives, and we must know how to cope.

Me encantó esa reflexión del éxito. Cada uno tiene una definición de éxito distinta, que va a depender de muchas situaciones, pero que al final es lo que los va llenando de felicidad por cumplir sus objetivos.
