Hello @graciousvic. How nice to be treated the same no matter your position in the family. However, by helping out, you learned how to become an excellent cook. Now that's something to be proud of and necessary in your adult life.
I enjoyed reading your story. I understand your wish to be an only child. There's no one but you. But then you miss out on all the sisterly and brotherly affiliations if all goes well. As you say, siblings are a blessing.
